4.5 stars to be exact. I'm glad I went to see the show while I was in Ho Chi Minh City. It was amazing and artistic.

It is like a Vietnamese version of Cirque du Soleil. It is based on traditional Vietnamese fishing village and how Vietnam has evolved into the place it is today, with lots of tricks and acrobatics and funny moments too. It's just an hour long. We booked well in advance and because we were among the first 10 to buy tickets... More

When I was a young lad, my mum enrolled me into a gymnastics class. Now I think back, if I had practised 8 hours a day for 21 years I still would not even be 1% as good as the performers in A O Show. Amazing. You will constantly question OHS because the flips and turns are so risky yet... More

This is a must-see! The show was electric from beginning to end, the choreography outstanding and the execution well-synchronised. Lighting and sound superb! I did not realise the props replicated traditional boats until after when I visited a beach and saw them anchored there! The show is scheduled for certain blocks of time so it pays to check in advance... More

I absolutely recommend anyone in Saigon to go for this show. It is every night and it lasts 1 hour. The intensity and rhythm of the performances make you feel it is much longer like any other show. It is a beautiful and very artistic representation of typical traditions and sceneries of Vietnam with the bamboo sticks and bamboo as... More

Really good show, top quality at a reasonable price at Saigon Opera House. Lighthearted, fun, and upbeat. About an hour long, and costs anywhere from 30-70 USD depending on your seat choice.

It's really difficult to describe the AO Show - the dancers (who are all very athletic), act out skits using bamboo poles, baskets, and other props, tracing the evolution of Vietnam from a fishing and agrarian society to the more modern life of those who live and work in the cities. The action is non-stop and the choreography and lighting... More
