Was building appearance, inside as well, feel the history of the colonial era. As Ola wrote people have also other, may be small compared to the cathedral in parts of Europe, I felt the presence reversed in that it is in the city were cluttered in Asia. Time zone can be exploring inside is rather limited. I did not enter... More

Nothing different about it other than it being in a communist country? You can only access the front, so view is very restricted

This cathedral is a good example of continental architecture. You wouldn't expect to see a building like this one in an Asian city. I would say it is interesting because of the unusual setting it is in rather than its interior or exterior. However, admission is free so you can go inside to check it out. Spectacular stained glass windows... More

Nice copy of Notre Dam, but very sipmle. It was done using just ordinary orange clay bricks. There are no sculptures on the roof. The interior is without mosaics and decorations.

This building is definately a must see. Absolutely incredible. You can even purchase yourself a candle outside and go and light it and say a prayer. This was a good time to reflect on those you love and how good we have our life compared to those less fortunate

Whilst it is novel to have a catholic cathedral in the middle of Ho Chi Minh City it is very plane inside and one is not allowed to wander around the interior to explore. It is like many other Vietnamese buildings very busy and many loud tours seem to predominate.

Do go inside and visit. At first it looked like it wasn't open to tourists but it actually is. It is nice.

This is an old historic cathedral with lots of French charm. The architecture is very impressive worth a trip if you like the old type buildings. English mass on Sundays at 9:30AM

It was a typical catholic cathedral. It is not open for viewing in the afternoon for some unknown reason so all we saw was the outside. There is a pretty square with a large marble statue in the front. The amzing thing was not the cathedral itself but that it is in the center of Saigon today, a remnant of... More
