The place was well kept but we could not go in cos there was a wedding going on and even after as apparently it was a popular church for the sacrament and one after the other weddings were booked for the day. a more mordern and nicer shurch was just around the block anyway

Located in right in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City, this place is always full with people who go there for pray or with tourist. Yes, you'll be allowed to go inside the Church event there is a ceremonial pray inside the Church.... More

Big brick building with little architectural relevance, no stained glass or any other fun labor intensive artistic flair that so many churches across Europe have. I do not understand the fascination with this place, and yet it was packed with VN tourists and foreigners alike. I would not bother going back.

Did a group tour through TNK travel. Since I decided to visit Ho Chi Minh City, this place was on the top of my list. It had beautiful stained glass, soaring ceiling, etc. It seems it is popular for wedding photo shoots. We spotted minimum 4 couples. I will spend more time here if I visit the city next time.

This church is beautiful but do take note of the opening hours. Is just a normal church but I think it's worth to visit cos afterall this place is unique & just beside the church is the Central Post Office

We stopped by to have a look but really, nothing to see here. There are some time restrictions on entry after 4.00pm.

I'm not religious so admittedly I only consider architectural and historical aspects. Small cathedral, unremarkable from a visual perspective. The name Notre Dame is ambitious for what it is.

If you want to take a peaceful moment in a noisy city. You sould be there. The Frech architecture of the church is very nice. Even though there was nothing for us to enjoy there but it was worth time. Taking some photos was a good idea when we were there.

This is an icone of the french colonialism. After the french conquest of Conchinchina the catholics established there. The difference to the Paris Notre Dame Cathedral is the Saigon catedral was built with bricks. Please avoid to go there during the religious service.
