Many, many brides have wedding photos taken outside the church. Because of its central location, we passed by it at least once each day and each time there were wedding parties posing. Went in and lit a candle; spent only a few minutes inside.

Lots of wedding photography going on at this place. Nice to check it out if you are strolling around there area, but not a "must see." The park next to this place is nice, and worth a visit.

This seems to make it on the list of tourist sights, as there isn't a lot else to see in HCMC. Situated right next door to the Post Office, which is pretty from the outside, but nothing special inside. You can see both these sights with a walk through the heart of the city, including Dong Koi Street (formerly Rue... More

I love old building especially if it well maintained. The church conveniently located in the middle close to other attractions. What is great, the visitor can only up to certain distance, since its limited for people who come to church for praying. Inside the church it was really calm and cool, worth a look.

Pales in comparison to Notre Dame in Paris. Nevertheless, it is one of the better preserved buildings here and from a historical perspective, worth a quick pop by considering there aren't many sites here that are really that interesting.

Just in the heart of HCMC there is this 19th century church with a statue of the Virgin Mary that was built to assist the French colonials when they conquered the Cochinchina. Being close to the War Museum and the Central Post office, it is worth a visit. All the construction material were appositely brought from France.

While walking around the city, this is one place to stop and get photos. It’s like a lot of churches in a lot of European cities, but it certainly sticks out in an Asian country. The French influence is very dominant in this city and this is one of the buildings worth looking at if you like architecture. It’s not... More

Its an old catholic church in red sand stone build over a century ago. Very european style with an asian touch. Nice stained glass work with local woodwork inside. Across the road is the old post office. Worth a visit

This is a very typical French cathedral from the 19th century. It is graceful and dominates the square in which it is to be found. The interior is very pleasant - not too ornate. Unfortunately, we were limited for access because a wedding was taking place.
