If you really love markets you will enjoy the mix of goods on offer. However, if you have explored a few markets in different places, you will find that this is much like any other. Tailored more to the tourists than the locals, there is plenty to see and buy - food, clothing etc. Worth a visit if you want... More

It's collection of many illustrated to American Vietnam War, from clothes, food, souverni and so on. You have to bargain 50% and walk away to get a best price

An anticipated visit as a collector of antiques for years. There is nothing but expensive fakes here. Nothing like the real thing. Any collector would be embarrassed to have this stuff in their collection. In addition, I have never been to a more filthy place, the smell of insecticide is overpowering, strong insecticide too, would not be even legal in... More

Unless you "have to" find something original from the war, then I wouldn't bother going well out of the way to get here. This can simply be put as a large hardware (like Bunnings or Masters) mixed with a war museum with lots of fakes. You have to dig and dig and dig to find something that you don't know... More

Being a keen collector of Vietnam War stuff I was eagre to visit here since it was 12 years since my last visit. Reports varied but I was of the opinion that nothing original was available any longer and that everything was fake and reproduction. Well first up - the reproductions are very good and if you are wanting something... More

It's just a short walk from the backpacker area that might be worth your time. We checked it out a couple of times, but didn't find anything we wanted. Most of what is there is new. There are also a lot of stalls that sell hardware and local-style clothing.

Make sure you keep your bags tightly close to you at all times, you have to watch out for pick pockets/muggers. Need to be good at haggling.
