Best market in Saigon

I prefer this market above some of the others in the area as it is a lot less frantic and a little more user friendly. There is still all the same/same merchandise and some may... read more

I prefer this market above some of the others in the area as it is a lot less frantic and a little more user friendly. There is still all the same/same merchandise and some may say that the bargains are little less, but that I believe that it probably the case for those that are adept at bartering. I found... More

This place is better than Saigon Square 1 @ Le Loi St. Less crowded, less tourists(maybe because it's a little out of the way). Allies are wider and give better shopping experience. Lots of Zara basics clothing here.

I love to buy cheap watches when in Asia and the concierge at our hotel suggested we come here - calling it the "knockoff" market. However my husband and I were very disappointed as the "knockoffs" here were very expensive (for cheap knockoffs that is). We were able to get the prices dropped a little but not very much. The... Nothing much here. Mostly fake things. Can consider giving a miss. Ben thanh market has more things than here.

Heaps of clothing Brand Names to choose from, and obviously of good quality. BUT... are they genuine or fake? Probably a bit of both, and who knows? Experts will know (maybe). Ebay knows. Dilemma is... if genuine the price is very cheap... but if fake they are definitely pricey. Make your own mind up. But maybe, like most, you just... More

We went to the one near Ben Thanh and Taka Plaza. It was busy, few westerners and the aisles were narrow. We were found plenty of adidas, Nike and under armour. We were pleased with the variety and prices. There was a good money changer just outside. We would visit again if in Saigon.

I visited Saigon Square, and left with to great quality Superdry T-shirts from Tam Shop (60-62A) There is a good array of clothing for both men and women, and bags, wallets, belts. The sizes are a bit smaller then Western sizes, but the clothing is very good quality!! Definitely would recommend a stop to Saigon Square, and visit Tam Shop

We walked from the saigon opera house, its only about 1km, but the building was no longer exist. We asked 3 different local vietnamese around there, they all said something like "closed" in vietnamese. Because we didn't understand vietnamese, They tried to use sign language too.. Better make sure before you waste time walking there...

I took a taxi to 7-9 Ton Duc Thang, but the plaza was closed. So don't go there. There are two other Saigon Square that I know, one on 176-181 Hai Ba Trung and one within 10 mins walk from Ben Thanh market. I went to the one close to Ben Thanh at Nam Ky Khoi Nghia street. From Ben... More
