The good thing about this marked is that you can walk around and look at stuff without all the "buy buy buy" from the sellers. But as Ben Thanh Market, much of it is overpriced and fake. I don't mind that it's fake, but you will get a better price on for example Nike shoes at the Russian market or... More

After escaping the clutches of vendors at Ben Thanh market, we waltzed into an air conditioned, spaced out Saigon Square. Here, the vendors aren't pushy, there's space to walk around and easier to shop. There are no handicrafts and knickknacks, it's mostly knockoff clothes and bags. You'll find everything from ultra cheap NorthFace rucksacks to accurate Zara 'Man' shirts. Bargaining... More

Nike copies, North Face copies and Vietnamese style fashion. Small sizes only available in many stores. Went with intent to buy but came home with nothing

Love this place, cheap T-shirts and souvenirs. You should bargain to get the best deals. Highly recommend

Saigon is just so busy with all those bikes. The square is exciting with so many international people everywhere. So much more modern than Hanoi. Ladies don't wear gold jewels. Leave them at home. Don't buy the traditional Vietnam hat at any markets, for customs took mine, for it had bugs in it.

Our friends from the city recommended shopping from Saigon square instead of Ben than market - because they didn't want us to get ripped off! And honestly i was very happy with what we had bought and found. Always smile and bargain. Try to negotiate a price lower than what is asked in the first place. And also be ready... More

You can find a lot of different style of clothes here. The fabric of the clothes weren't the best but you can bargain and get a good deal.

Caution! You might find the price way quite lower than anywhere else for the same kind of clothing that you might overspend. The place is lined with stalls selling clothes, bags and shoes. I'm not quite sure if the items were factory overruns or imitation because most of it looked and felt like they were close to the original, though I'm... More

Just a short walk from Ben Thanh Market, this market is not as big but also not as crowded an is not as hot so you spend longer here and explore more. I personally got some great bargains - do not be afraid to haggle - they seem to enjoy it.

My friend who's local vietnamese told me to go to this place. It's just accross ben thanh market. It's more comfortable. Some of them have fix price so we don't need to bargain with affordable price. I just bought men shirt for only 150 dong each with very good quality.
