Much better than ben thanh market, The items we were after at Ben Thank were close to twice the price on the initial "how much". The quality was much better at Saigon Square 1 (don't bother with SS 2 its a waste of time) for the items. That we had problems picking if the items were real or not. Some... More

We found Saigon Square 2 on our last day in Saigon. It’s a fun shopping experience, especially for clothing, bags, designer hand bags. Most of the goods are brand name, made in VN, slightly imperfect with original materials. Price are cheap and value for money. If you are keen to buy, you can further negotiate the price with the stall... More

I see a wide range of opinions for this marketplace. I think everyone has a different range of experiences and expectations. As for me, I went purely to see the hiking gear I keep reading about. I've been to Ben Thanh Market, the market in Chinatown District 5, and now Saigon Square. The Chinatown one was a unique experience. Outdoor,... More

We visited the Saigon Square Markets on our last day - we found many good quality clothes and were not hassled like in the main markets. A pleasant day of casual shopping.

There are 2 saigon squares(1 & 2). Both have the same stuff for shopping. It's full of first copies and export surplus. Prices are less compared to what you would be paying in your country as most of them are made here. Do bargain as due to tourist they simply hike the price, but then don't get disappointed as some... Too crowded and not much to choose specially for varied sizes. You will be disappointed if you liked one and then there in none fitted for you. We went out at once. Only a single item we brought back to hotel.

If you are looking for north face jackets, nike shirts, bags and other export over runs this maybe a good place for you. These days it is more difficult to bargain though as there are more tourist with all the low cost carriers flying there.
