I booked this spa for my mother and I in advance due to its great reviews however, I would not recommend this place to others. We both had the Signature Spa package (4.5 hours involving a steam, body polish, massage, facial, pedicures, and hair spa) costing $145USD. All our treatments were done side by side. On arrival we were given... More

... and another trip to Spa Tropic! Actually, it's the best part of my trip :-) This place just gets better and better. I love it! There's no point in my raving about the therapies I had this visit. I think I've tried them all and can honestly say they're ALL amazing. But the thing that makes this place so... More

Loved spa tropic! Very clean, beautiful spa. I got the massage, scrub, facial, manicure and hair spa. Would recommend the massage/scrub and facial- definitely worth it! Little things but then have floating flowers under the massage table which are beautiful!

I travel to Ho Chi Minh a couple of times a year on business and try and whenever I stay over on a Sunday and have a day off, I visit this place. Excellent services and a great price. Very relaxing!

I had been exploring eateries in the area near the Jade Pagoda and accidentally discovered Spa Tropic since it was on the same street as Cuc Gach Cafe. The spa is inside a French colonial villa and has a nice manicured garden in front. Since it was raining, I decided to take a 90 minute warm stone massage. First of... More

I had already gone for 2 spa treatments in Ho Chi Minh (both ranked higher than this spa) during my trip - both were cheap but were not great. Since it was too hot to be out and about, I scrolled down the list and came across Spa Tropic. I decided to give it a try and was so glad... More

Thank you for taking the time to review Spa Tropic. I'm very pleased to know that you enjoyed your spa experience with us. You've correctly summarized that Spa Tropic is about the 'total experience' and not a cheap rub down. We are aware that there are many cheap massage parlours in the city and we do not seek to compare... More

I found this place on TripAdvisor and booked because it sounded unique, and it is - it's tucked away in a residential neighbourhood that seems a million miles from Dong Khoi (it's only about 15 mins by taxi though, less if you're game to ride a motorcycle taxi) and offers a 'hair spa' service consisting of a hair mask, scalp... Thank you for taking the time to share your experience at Spa Tropic. It's not often we get comments on our Hair Spa service so that was really nice to hear! Our hair spa service is ideal for those who've been traveling and their hair is a bit dry and damaged from the sun would benefit from this service, particularly... More

Yes, you will find cheaper spas and treatments in HCMC, but I'm not sure you will find the same quality. I had the "jet lag" treatment package, 2.75 hrs, and it was delightful. The staff is well trained and professional, the private room was very clean with a lovely relaxing atmosphere, and the receptionist was friendly and spoke English well.... More

One of my most concerns in Vietnamese spas is cleanliness. Fortunately, Spa Tropic did not fail my expectation. The spa was simple but clean and well- maintained. I was greeted by a cup of cool lemongrass tea which was good. The staff were well-trained and very professional. Their massage skills were excellent and thorough. I do not have enough of... More

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience at Spa Tropic. We're very pleased that you enjoyed your spa experience with us. And thank you for your suggestions. The reason we don't offer more intensive treatments such as microdermabrasion is frankly, there isn't much of a demand for it since our clientele are mainly tourists who mostly are... More

I visited HCMC in June of 2013 and found the Spa Tropic after reading about it on TA. I had the full body massage as well as a facial. Don't remember the package exactly. I believe the cost was approximately $90 usd and the whole thing took about 2 1/2 hours. If you've had either a massage or a facial... More

Wow - you have a very good memory of your experience from last June! Thanks for taking the time to share your experience with us! I appreciate your comments especially as it's quite balanced - you understand our pricing and appreciate why we are different. Though I apologize for the construction. We try to discuss with our neighbors about noise... More
