Owner description: Bitexco Financial Tower at a height of 262 meters is the tallest building in Ho Chi Minh City up to date. With design concept is taken from the shape of a lotus bud, the Vietnam national flower, Bitexco Financial Tower is not merely a building which is covered in glass and steel, but also a symbol of beauty and the rapid development of Ho Chi Minh City economy, a key economic region in Vietnam. Bitexco Financial Tower is a typical example for creativity and unique design. One of the tower highlights is the first observation in the city at 49th floors. Saigon Skydeck has opened for all visitors from January 1, 2011. The price to get up is 200,000 VND each, where as entrance to Eon51 is free. Only concern is the cost of everything at the bar is around 200,000 VND... I got a Duvel (arguably one of the most expensive drinks in HCMC) for 220,000 VND and if you do the maths, it's reaaaalllyyy only cost me 20,000 VND right?... More

The view is OK, after all HCMC doesn't have a lot to see as other cities do. The staff are great. There's a bar upstairs with mediocre service but nice staff and generous serves of food. Actually our cyclos confused this building with another and went the wrong way, however we found out that after all, they just didn't want... More

If you go up for the views - great. They are superb. We then went to the bar, ordered drinks and waited and waited. The staff looked like rabbits in the headlights - service was VERY poor. Took an absolute age to get our drinks ( a jug of beer - hardly very hard) and even longer to get the... More

Well worth going up the Skydeck to have a total view of Saigon. It makes you realise what a huge city it is and also what development is going on.

We visited the viewing platform on aSaturday afternoon and found that it was nowhere near as busy as many of these towers can be. The views of HCMC are amazing, if a little hazy. The staff were polite and courteous and the toilets were some of the cleanest I've come across in HCMC. They had complimentary bottled water which was... More

Save your 200,000 Dong entry fee and go to the bar instead. No entry fee but a beer is 150k ++ This way at least you get a drink and a place to sit down. Also try to go when it is happy hour 2 for 1 drinks to stretch your Dong as far as possible. The staff are cool... More

Excellent views from this modern sky deck. A bit like the shard in London but lower. Fastest lift. In Asia takes you to the 49 th floor. Very. Cheap by western standards as 2000 Dong, £6.

You are taken by a lift to the 49th floor, where you can see the city from every angle. The views are amazing and you get a free bottle of water. It costs 200,000 dong per adult. The cafe is on the next level up but is quite expensive.

If you're looking to take some photos of the Saigon skyline at night, don't bother wasting your money here. On the 49th floor the walls behind you are lit up, as is the floor with its built-in neon lights. This means you will have reflections in the glass wherever you point your camera, effectively ruining every single shot unless you... More

Saigon Skydeck is a 200,000 dong ($10) trip to the 49th floor of Bitexco Tower. Floor to ceiling windows on 360 degree elevations do give you a great chance to see all of central Saigon laid out before you. If you normally go up big buildings in cities, then this doesn't disappoint. Particularly neat to see the river snake through... More
