Delta Adventure, is an unique experience.

We booked a Mekong Delta 1 Day Tour with Four Season Travel in Ho Chi Minh City as we had had a bearable tour of Cu Chi with them a few days before. Firstly the bus was around 45 minutes late in the morning and even though we were told that we would be collected from our hotel we had... More

$10 goes a long way on this day long Mekong.Delta excursion, 9am-5pm. 4hrs of buses, ferry rides across the mekong, jungle canal canoe ride (a fun fast ride)., sesame tea tasting, free lunch, jungle honey candy factory & tasting. My wife got to pick up a live beehive panel. The tourist souvenir stands were cheaper than in town. Got to... More

It's a new experience cruising along the river canal with a canoe. I visited the Unicorn Island, which is popular for it's honey. The drink - i forgot the name - consists of hot vietnamese tea, honey and sesame, and kam quat, is really refreshing. It is served with dried banana and peanuts, both are really good. All of sort... This review is written to focus on the Four Seasons Travel tour, rather than Mekong trip. We took up the half day Cu Chi Tunnel tour with Four Season travel tour. It cost USD4 only, package supposed to include air con bus and an English speaking tour guide for a group of 33, with hotel pick up in the morning.... More

Set off in the morning at about 9am and returned back to hotel at about 5pm. First, a bus ride from hotel to habour which tool about 2 hours. A peaceful boat ride to a bee farm. Followed by a boat ride through small rivers, then donkey cart ride. Lunch by the river. Then, a coconut candy shop. Lastly, a... More

I booked this tour through my hotel. The company seemed to be called YTC, but may also have been Delta Adventures - hard to see. We paid 330,000 dong each for this tour, which is just over $15 usd. It was a large group. The boatride and scenery are nice, and lunch was excellent (although we paid extra to have... More

The trip to Mekong was a very enjoyable one. We went to a local village which had a bee farm and had some honey tea and fruits whilst listening to the locals play "Southern Vietnamese folk music".We visited a family buisness where delicious coconut lollies were produced. Then we had lunch on Tortoise island and we were served with traditional... More

People need to realise this is a big trip in a day. This is known when booked so stop whinging. We had a great day with Linda from Intrepid Urban Adventures. She spent the bus trip giving us a real insight to how the locsls view the rapid changes and new properity of Vietnam. The trip did involve a number... More

We took this tour with "The Sinh Tourist". Our tour guide could have been easily replaced by a tape recording of his own voice, as there is no doubt he says the same words day for day. The only enjoyable activity of the day was actually taking little boats through the mangrove forests (for 5 to 10 minutes). Apart from... More

Do shop around for prices up to 50% difference paid for the same tour but only a difference of $4 Prepare for a 2.5 hr bus journey to the delta. Lots to see & do. Bee farm, fruits sampling, cultural songs, etc. No sales pitch nor pressure in buying anything - Friendly locals Friendly tour guides, knowledgeable and friendly!
