My partner suggested we go. I wasn't sure what to expect, although it was all in Vietnamese, it was easy to grasp what was happening. The way in which the water puppets are made to move is amazing! Well worth the visit, for a few pence more, get front row seats!

We got there about 10 minutes prior to the show starting and were given front row seats. The show was full of amazingly skilled puppeteers and musicians telling traditional Vietnamese tales. Sitting so close, we got splashed a few times by the dragon. Kids enjoyed it, but keep the programme close at hand so you know what's going on with... More

I went along to the puppet show with my friends whilst travelling around Vietnam. It was not my idea to go along. I found the whole show bizarre, humourless and tedious. I would not recommend going along.

Originating from the delta of the Red River, puppetry is a traditional art which developed as a result of the need for entertainment in the rural area. Since water puppetry originated from the rural area, the stories are centred on rural life with strong reference to Vietnamese folklore. The water puppetry probably gets its stories told from generation to generation... More

This attraction is a cheap fun thing to go and watch before dinner. Only thing is the seats are very small and not suitable for the larger bodied person.

Show very special and unique. Show illustrating the daily life of residents in the villages. Band with singers and instrumentalists authentic instruments accompanies the show.Powered by 10 people using bamboo poles under water for operating the puppet.'s Very interesting but I think a bit longer performance
