This trip was very nice and very well organized. A tourist company picked up us on time in front of the hotel and we spent all day in the river. We loved the coconut candy and the food was good, but be careful with the fresh vegetables. The canoe ride was very nice and the people were just amazing. They... More

Organised through the Hoang Ngan hotel, the Happy Tour day adventure to the Mekong Delta @ US$30 all inclusive was well worth the effort and time to get a glimpse of the region, it's people and their activities. The coconut candy was delicious as was the honey/royal jelly tea. The canoe trip through the mangroves was a virtual highway of... More

This trip is worth doing, but be prepared for a lot of time on the coach. Most of it was good, apart from I would say towards the end, which I found very cringeworthy when the locals bring out a band to play music, these elderly guys are so out of tune, they make the singer sound good, which was... It's a long road trip before the bus stops at Mekong river. Do bring along food and drink as the bus will only make a toilet stop. During the trip, we may see the true colors of Vietnam. It's a nice view to see how Vietnamese runs their daily life. When the bus stop at the jetty, it'll be a... More

A great value for money day out to experience some of the mekong delta. Fantastic scenic views, three different boat rides through local villages with stop offs to the bee farm to taste the honey, sample the lovely fruits and watch the locals making coconut candies. A delicious lunch of many Vietnamese dishes including the tasty fried elephant ear fish.

this is a wonderful and relaxing trip on the Mekong river, visiting two islands and having the opportunity to see the various crafts and other things the villages do to provide employment and income for the community

Taking the boat along the saigon river was fantastic. On this trip you see how everyday people live their life on the Mekong river.

We went on three day tour covering most of Mekong River activities. I must say the first day was the best and fantastic value for your money! Totally enjoyed the coconut candy making sessions many educational and historical talks and I did not mind the shopping opportunities at all.

If you have been to Bangkok floating markets, you may not find the the cruise worth it. It is indeed an eye opener when we took the cruise on the Mekong River but the floating market was a let down. There was not much activities on the river and the visit to fruit plantations was not great either. However, we... More

taking the boat along the saigon river was fantastic, the highlight of the trip in fact. From the river to seeing the delta open up was magic. From then on it became just a commercial trip. selling honey which cures everything. Local songs and basic fruit , the coconut candy making was good and the lunch was OK. The trip... More
