The water puppet theater is hard to explain, but shouldn't be missed ! The theater is small with steep rows, so everyone has a good vantage point - there are no bad seats in the house. They also allow photography, and some guests overdid it - holding up their cameras and blocking the view of people behind them. The puppets... More

We did not know what to expect. The presentations were done in sequence and one had to know the legends so the acting brought these to life. It was a delight to watch the attention to detail, the manner in which the musicians and singers kept the attention of the audience. At the end the producer, directors and the people... More

We were swaying about whether to do this or not but as Vietnam is famous for it's water puppetry we decided we shouldn't miss out. I'm so glad we did, it only lasted around 40 minutes but it was great not only for kids. Never seen anything like this before and it was great how they do it. A must... More

This was a special attraction and a must when in Saigon. The show is great and I have never seen anything like it. Maybe it should be followed up with an explanation in English - but most of the show is self explanatory. Short and sweet - I do recommend the show for all ages.

Very clever how they work the puppets under water. However the seating system is not tiered enough so sitting at the back it was not easy to see it--just a mass of heads in front of you with the odd puppet coming into view occasionally.Good length of showing time---only 45 mins.

Though we don't understand Vietnamese, watching the puppets dance across the water you understood and appreciated the artistry. Very unique, would recommend!

I was a bit cynical about going to see this show as it sounded like a bit of a tourist trap. But is was really good fun! The musicians were fantastic and even though they probably do this same show three times a day, seven days a week, they still appeared to be enjoying themselves. The puppetry was excellent and... Not my sort of thing, but the wife enjoyed it, and I was left wondering how they do it all with the water puppets. Not really sure how to feel about all the reviews saying that while it is in Vietnamese you can still follow the story.....maybe I'm just not as smart as I think I am or like I... More
