One of those things.

One of those things you should see just so you can say you have. Our kids enjoyed it. It's very asian and that fine. It's worth doing but it won't be the highlight of your trip.

I had been looking forward to this performance for some time and it lived up to expectations. Thoroughly enjoyable even though spoken/sung in Vietnamese (which is part of its charm I suppose!!). Only reason I gave four stars instead of five is due to the seating. The theatre was at capacity and I unfortunately had a very tall person sitting... More

The water puppet show is one of its kind and it is a one hour show costing USD10.00 for admission. Very limited seats per show. The show is performed by trained artists with years of experience. The puppets perform in water and is controlled and manupilated by these trained performers. These performers narrate short tales through the puppets and is very... More

Very interesting. The concept of puppetry in water was something very new to me. It is done very well. The music and singing/story telling are all in Vietnamese so I didn't really understand it but the context clues gave me some idea. The music is performed there on the stage by about eight musicians on traditional Vietnamese instruments.

Yes this is where tourists go, even in groups, yes the seats are not soft anymore... and so what? This is absolutely charming! "Everybody loves puppets" anyway, but water puppets are so counter-intuitive that they really fascinate. The water here is made muddy so you really never see the contraptions, the puppets are well-designed, there is live traditional music, 45... More

Loved the artistic expression and music of this water puppet show--don't skip it! So much beauty in all the animal puppets and people too! Songs are completely in Vietnamese with no translations. But your still chuckle with delight at several of the scenes. $9 US well spent. Very easy to book through your hotel

This show is all in vietnamese but that doesn't matter because it is done so well that you can understand the story. Very professional and the musicians and the puppets were of the highest quality of entertainment. Kids and adults loved it
