Had a really good time, views were spectacular, recommend 2 nights as we got to see so much more that the 1 night people, food was tasty, crew were so friendly, only complaint it at some points we didn't know what we were meant to do as they unloaded the one night people and we stayed on board, but apart... I have to give them a 4 for effort and the fact that the cabin you get and boat are pretty good and well maintained. Generally the crew I can't fault and the food was ok- not amazing but definitely good for a cruise.. However, this is not quite the relaxing cruise you expect. For one thing, the timetable is... The people complaining I can't believe, for what they did on a boat was 5 starts all the way. if you want to be cheap, go somewhere else. Staff was friendly and check in was easy. Did a 1 night cruise like most people, for a boat with 24 rooms in was very nice. Yes its not a 5 star... More

Halong Bay is full similar cruise ships. Having spent a lot of time researching we were very pleased to have booked with Pelican. The boat is in excellent condition, the rooms are spacious; each with sea views. The staff are friendly and accommodating to any request. The program is well organised, with meal times offering plenty of choice. All in... More

Halong Bay is incredibly beautiful, and we decided to pay extra for a 5-star cruise to have a fantastic once-in-a-lifetime experience. Pelican Cruise advertises themselves as a '5-star cruise' on their website, but we were disappointed. We booked for a family of 4 with an extra bed in our cabin, but at bedtime discovered that we'd only been given 2... More

Amazing room and view. Great service from the crew and nice food. Quite pricey but you pay for what you get. We went for a 2 day 1 night tour but I think 3 days 2 nights would be better. Bring your own wine and some bottles of mineral water - you have to pay for them at a much... More

We booked 2d1n stay via 'travel Vietnam' agency and paid usd300 per pax for 4d3n stay (cum 2 nights in Hanoi). Journey to Halong Bay took almost 3 hours, including 30mins toilet break mid way. Please take note that all rooms does not come with wifi and TV, however they do provide activities for you, such as going to a... More

Our travel agent suggested Pelican cruise so we booked our 2 nights / 3 days cruise with this company. Pelican cruise have their own mini bus to pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi. The journey was about 3 hours long going to Halong Bay with one stopover for half an hour rest or going to the toilet. When... More

Despite the mist during our overnight cruise on Halong Bay. the views were still spectacular. Our Pelican Cruise was very enjoyable with a comfortable cabin, friendly staff, good food, frequent activities and they even offer massage (which was very enjoyable). Definitely one of the highlights of our Vietnam holiday.

My mum and I decided to go with pelican after searching through many other tour options. They were fantastic- prompt with transfers, the cabins on the boat were clean and comfortable, food was good and staff were friendly. The Halong bay experience itself was fantastic. Highly recommended :)
