Its quite different from the usual puppet shows we usually see....as it takes place on a stage filled with water. It's not exactly mesmerising but a good experience to learn a bit about the Vietnamese culture.

it was no doubt a must see, considering it was prize-winning puppet show. but 10 minutes into the show, my boyfriend almost feel asleep. nothing much to shout about.....
The show is entertaining and one of a kind, i did not imagine a puppet show can be done in a pool of water. Each puppet theme is created uniquely and artistically which matched the Vietnamese music. I love the sound of the harp (i hope i got the name of the instrument right) and the sweet voice of the...

It was only my respect for other people and the musicians that I refrained from getting up and walking out.

The production was supposed to have won many awards and is recognized nationally. Yet the show itself was so poorly run, from the stage to costumes to everything else. The audience is crammed inside a small auditorium and everyone is fanning themselves for lack of A/C. Uncomfortable and disappointing.
We had seen a couple of other "water puppet" shows in Saigon and surrounds but this was without a doubt the most professional and well put together show we saw. Worth paying the few extra $.
Tickets to all performances sell quickly and with full houses for every performance if you are not part of a tour group go early...

For anybody who hasn’t got this show in the travel itinerary then I think you should add it in immediately. The show is great in both music and performance. The content of the show is about the Vietnamese and it is very easy to get the meaning of each scene as they also show it in a big screen in...
