Love visiting this place despite all the tourists. It's a bit out of the way but what a restful place inside such a busy city.

The start of my Hanoi day tour leads me to this beautiful 1400 year old Pagoda. The smell of incense lightens up my mood. There are many people already there. Crossing over the bridge leading to the Pagoda, I take in the sights of the lake and its surroundings. People are trading their wares, ladies are carrying their fruits and... More

It's a very beautiful pagoda and a peaceful place different to the craziness you find in Hanoi. Well preserved and important to Vietnamese culture. Must see in Hanoi.

One should really appreciate the way they have maintained these places with thousands of tourists visiting every day. The Pagoda, and surrounding pillars are photogenic. The fountain with colores fishes attracts visiters for a photo pose. the temple with its insence stands gives one peace with the mingling crowd around.

We walked there to find out it was closed :( we arrived at noon and it would not open until 13:30. Walked around a bit and it looked beautiful so if you don't want to miss this be careful at what time you go. Opens from 7:30 to 11:30 and from 13:30 to 18:30
