A four and a half hour journey in a minibus, is not my idea of a good time! Even with a comfort break half way, I was never more pleased to get out of a vehicle and said to my wife, this had better well be as good as it's cracked up to be. We were lucky. Many of our... More

Personally thinks that a) Day Tour - would be sufficient if you just wish to see the mesmerizing landscape where lunch included. Kayak or riding a sampan, visiting sung sot cave. b) 2 days 1 night - spending 3.5 hours to halong bay from hanoi and vise versa. The itinerary is the same as the day tour but with sleeping... More

We had a fantastic time on our lovely cruise! Ginger is in superb condition throughout, with high quality food and a slick itinerary. Amazing staff will do anything to make your trip more enjoyable. Most people do a one night tour but we could not resist doing two nights. Unexpectedly we experienced an island cycling tour, ancient village visit and... More

We made a day trip to Halog Bay through our hotel for$50per person.other travelling agencies offer a night stay at Halong Bay in this price but we wre too tired for haggling with the prices.the tour included hotel pick and drop ,air conditioned bus ride of about four hours and seafood lunch in the boat.we were only ten passengers in... I think that I may have really put WAY too much expectation on this. I wasn't disappointed but I also wasn't blown away. Our tour guide was lovely and I loved seeing the cave and getting into the canoe. I don't know if I would do the 3.5hr drive from Ha Noi to Halong Bay if I went again. The... More

We booked a package deal through this company consisting of 4 nights in the excellent Rising Dragon Legend hotel in Hanoi and a 2day/1night cruise in Halong Bay and including all airport transfers. The package cost $177 pp and proved to be very good value. The booking process was quite simple and straightforward. However, on the downside, we had a lot... More

We were only able to go for the day. They also offer multiple day tours, in which you can even spend the night in a boat. The tour we took was fantastic. We had lunch on the boat and made our way to a floating village where we had the option to either go on a bamboo paddle boat or... More

Picked up at hotel ontime, beware thwt this is a 3.5 hour bus ride to get to the harbour at halong bay. Had the pleasure of sailing with cruise director TON " aka tom cruise".... More

I love to visit grottos and caves and see the many forms of stalactites and stalagmites and the one we visited, Dong Thien Cung ranks among the very best and is well worth visiting. You do get a lot of exercise on this trip as you must walk up to the grotto entrance, meander through the grotto, and of course,... More

The scenery is beyond words. It's definitely worth the long drive there. Took total of 8 hours to and fro to Halong Bay. Managed to stayed there for the view for 4 hours.
