There's about 50 boats made to look like old Chinee junks that are actually beautiful ships (inside). Each has only about 12 cabins, a nice lounge and dining room. One or two night cruises in the bay are beautiful. Very unique little islands jutting up out of the sea everywhere.

We booked our great cruise through Brilliant Halong Cruises website where they had great cruise collections of many in Halong Bay. Very honest and quickly confirmed and we got lovely and modern cabin on cruise. We enjoyed great food and did many amazing activities during our trip: kayak, caves, villages. They were also very honest by finding out our phone... More

1st time to Hanoi And went mostly to visit Halong. This cruise was recommended by my friends in the Indochina Hotel. What a great experince. Picked up at hotel ontime, beware thwt this is a 3.5 hour bus ride to get to the harbour at halong bay. Had the pleasure of sailing with cruise director TON " aka tom cruise".... More

I love to visit grottos and caves and see the many forms of stalactites and stalagmites and the one we visited, Dong Thien Cung ranks among the very best and is well worth visiting. You do get a lot of exercise on this trip as you must walk up to the grotto entrance, meander through the grotto, and of course,... More

The scenery is beyond words. It's definitely worth the long drive there. Took total of 8 hours to and fro to Halong Bay. Managed to stayed there for the view for 4 hours.

We went on a one day tour to Halong bay, it is very beautiful, however, the 4 hour bus journey was something I don't think I will ever forget. My advice is try to book a private driver to take you, especially if there are a few of you. We were charged $50 per person for our one day cruise,... More

What I liked about the trip was the food, friendly tour guide, the weather. What I didn't like is just the bumpy road and the long journey (3.5 hours) from our hotel to Halong Bay terminal.

Me and my family had a safe and wonderful holiday in Halong Bay and Hanoi. A big thank to this beautiful, friendly and excellence service young lady - Lily. Without her super fast response, arrangement and comfort, our trip may not be swift. I highly recommended her and her company to all travellers, you will be burden free. Should our... More

Amazing Halong Bay! A must see attraction in Vietnam! If you do not understand what I meant by descending dragons...ask your tour guide (ours is Jackie Chuong and he is amazing!)... =) Me and my wife took the 1 night on Golden Lotus Cruise + 1 night in Cat Ba Resort, and we never looked back ever!
