We booked this 10 cabin junk based on the fact that they were the only company which offered dinner in a cave. It would have been a terrific 3 days if the weather had cooperated. Take into consideration that this cruise is very weather dependent, and your experience will reflect that. Pros - We were a small intimate group and... More

Trip advisor is really confusing in its categories here; Indochina Junk run various sizes of boats and cruise durations; the Dragon Pear (mock)Junks carry about 20 people, which is a good size to develop at least superficial relations with the other travellers. Our December trip carried mainly Scots, Americans, Canadians, and Australians...the only three Asians were in our party of... More

Dragon Pearl Junk Travelling in a group of eight I spent 2 nights on this 10 cabin junk in Bai Tu Long Bay. A few years ago I did a similar program on Halong Bay. Halong Bay now is very crowded with hundreds of boats vying for positions. In comparison this bay has few boats which provides for a very... More

We did the 2 night cruise and it was absolutely fabulous!!! The scenery was magnificent and we very much enjoyed the kayaking and exploring the caves of Bai Tu long Bay. This was a lot more peaceful and relaxing then the bigger, busier Ha Long. Our guide Smiley lived up to his name and was extremely informative and made the... More

We did the 2 night cruise and would totally recommend it, fantastic food and amazing scenery .Although we followed an itinery it didn't seem rushed and our guide Ha and the crew did an excellent job. The dinner in a cave was a magical experience.

From start to finish this was a great choice for our Halong Bay adventure. We actually cruised around the Bai Tu Bay area. It was much quieter than Halong Bay with all the same scenery. The Dragon Pearl, after a lot of research, was a great choice. We had 2 nights on board with 15 others from around the world,... More

We did 2day/1night cruise with Indochina on the Dragon Pearl 3 cruise and we were delighted with the level of service, cabin standard and food served over the two days! All were to a really good if not high standard, our guide Kim was extremely enthusiastic. We cruised, ate and had fun, there was a beach trip to a secluded... More

My husband and I were on the Dragon Pearl 2. This boat is stunning. The design and the history behind the design and all the artifacts on board were so cool. We booked the 3 day 2 night tour around Ha Long Bay. Unfortunately our trip was cut short due to a Typhoon so we were only allowed 1 night... More

we booked the 3 day-2 night cruise on the Dragon Pearl 2. our biggest disappointment was the pollution in the bay, plastic garbage and sewage. hard to believe you would swim in this. Pick up and the trip to Ha long bay in the luxury van was well worth the minor increase in cost. food was excellent, many courses of... More

The 3 day 2 night cruise aboard Indochine's Dragon Pearl Junk (I or II) is an exceptional opportunity and fascinating experience. It is also very comfortable, visually astonishing, personally rewarding and the initiator of life memories. The junks are well fitted, clean and quiet. The staff and guides gentle and well versed in making guests happy, and combining the characters... More
