We went on the 2 day 1 night cruise and really enjoyed it. Next time we will go for the 3 day 2 night trip, which would be a little more relaxing as well as include the cave tour. The room & ensuite bathroom on the boat were very nice. The food was outstanding. The people were great. The activities,... More

The service we received on this cruise was exceptional, with great food and attentive staff. Halong bay is a very stunning, special place. Highlights were kayaking round fishing villages and swimming off the boat. However the trip to the pearl farm and walk up Tip Top island were not as exciting, although this did not detract from the experience.

We did 2 nite 3 day. Firstly the staff were universally great and the boat and food were very high quality. Halong bay itself is amazingly beautiful, we had perfect clear weather which no doubt helped. We had a great time and the sunsets drinking cocktails on the top deck were unforgettable. We had 2 cabins for our 2 kids... More

Sumptuous is the word for this tour. Because it is next door to impossible to choose from all the available cruising tours, we booked one with helpful advice form concierge at the Hotel de l'Opera at Hanoi. We wanted as private a choice as possible not to lose time for coordination with other guests. We also made an arrangement that... More

2 day 1 night on a 5 cabin Valentine junk. Fantastic cabin, great space on board. Almost entirely seafood menus, very well presented. Sorry we couldn't stay longer. Drink prices not unreasonable, even cheap at happyhour(s), kayaking was a highlight.Points off for depositing us at tourist trap high priced shops for 20-30 minutes on the way to and from Hanoi.

In August we experienced a magical 3 day 2 night excursion on one of the IndoChina junks in Ha Long Bay. The customer support and entire package was outstanding. Weather perfect.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay on the Indochina Sails Premium junk. The cabins were spacious, elegant and clean and the service from the staff was courteous and with a smile. The quality of the food served on board was top notch, and the range of beverages available was extensive, if a little expensive for Vietnam standards. However if you... More
