Description: What better way to enjoy the spectacular scenery of this UNESCO World...
What better way to enjoy the spectacular scenery of this UNESCO World Heritage Site than on board an Indochina Sails or Valentine Junk! With over a decade of hosting international guests on the tranquil waters of Halong Bay, Indochina Sails has set the standard for luxury cruising. The first company to offer overnight cruises on the bay, Indochina Sails is now widely known as the number one choice for discerning travelers, operating a fleet of six newly built wooden junks designed in time-honored traditional style, with contemporary and luxurious cabins and facilities. Our boats feature spacious, well-appointed cabins and suites with large en-suite bathrooms, large sundecks with comfortable lounging furniture and elegant dining rooms and bars. We have designed and fitted our boats to international standards while maintaining traditional styling, creating the perfect balance of modern comforts and nostalgic ambiance.

I'd booked a 2 night, 3-day tour with these folks in February of 2015. I'd been to Halong Bay before on an overnight and wanted to see a bit more. The previous tour in 2001 was Ik except for there being a bit too much crab on the menu. I love crab but 4-5 times a day was even a... More

A trip to Ha Long Bay is not to be missed if you are planning a holiday in Vietnam and there’s no better way of seeing it than with ‘Indochina Sails’. They are a very well organised company and their boats are well maintained. Following an easy ‘check-in’ and a welcome drink in their waiting room / reception area, we... More

Went on the 2 day 1 night trip arranged by Insider Journeys, collected from our hotel in private car and had 3.5 hour drive to Halong Bay stopping en route for a comfort break. A large emporium type place where you can buy various gifts or have a coffee. Arrived at Halong Bay and met by Tuan (aka Happy Little... More

We did the 2 day, 1 night tour and wished we had stayed for longer. Sadly Halong Bay is now full of tourists and can be dirty but our trip was amazing. We had a deluxe cabin with big windows and a viewing area. The food was great (set menu lunch and buffet dinner and breakfast). The staff were even... More

We did the one night trip at the end of February when we were advised that the misty season would have finished. Sadly this was not the case and the view of the misty rocks reminded us of parts of Scotland. However the weather didn't spoil our trip, and it was still thoroughly enjoyable and memorable. The ship was a... More

We spent two nights and three days floating around Ha Long Bay on one of their boats. They are highly organised and from the moment we arrived we were warmly welcomed. Our cabin was fantastic with a lovely big bed and a shower better than our last four star hotel! We chugged along and watched islands passing us by.....sooooo relaxing.... More

We did the one night stay and loved it. It is a fair trek down from Hanoi so if you are planning your stay in the North of Vietnam, make sure you leave 2 full days free for Hanoi sightseeing. Staff on the boat were charming and the food was good. Lunch is the main meal, there is a buffet... More

We went on a one night cruise on Indochina Sails 1. It was exceptionally good. The boat, cabin, staff, food and tour leader, all could not be faulted. The area is extremely beautiful and being there at sunrise and sunset was great. Our early morning climb to the top of the hill on Tiptop Island was very strenuous with steep... More

Me and my family was on a cruise through Sout-East Asia and while at dock in Halong Bay we had booked a one-night cruise with Indochina sails. It was an amazing trip in beautiful surroundings. The cabins was very nice, the food delicious and the service impeccable. We also had a couple of excursion to the fishing village and some... More

My wife Joy and I took a three day two night excursion around Halong Bay with Indochina sails. The scenery was utterly stunning seriously breathtaking. The boat was exceptionally well organised, the food was perfect and the bedroom fit for any 5 star hotel. We even had a small balcony The crew delivered wonderful service. Look out for Nhu Thuy...
