With over a decade of hosting international guests on the tranquil waters of Halong Bay, Indochina Sails has set the standard for luxury cruising. We have designed and fitted our boats to international standards while maintaining traditional styling, creating the perfect balance of modern comforts and nostalgic ambiance.

We decided that this was one thing we were willing to spend money on to ensure a good experience, and despite the fact this tour was the most expensive thing we did on our trip through Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam, we have no regrets in having paid top dollar for this company's services. Our boat had about twenty cabins on... More

We booked two nights with Indochina Sails and I think it is necessary to stay longer than just one night. The ship and the rooms were well equpped and the crew was nice, friendly and gave us many information about the people living in the halong bay. The meal was great. For breakfast and dinnner they had a buffet and... More

We booked the 3 day 2 night cruise and it was amazing. We travelled with our 2 teenage boys and they had a great time. We kayaked through fishing villages and through caves etc. The food was amazing. Breakfast and dinner daily were full buffet with everything you could think of. Our rooms were great with french doors opening on... More

We too the 3D/2N tour with Indochina Sails no.3. We received a free upgrade to a deluxe cabin. It was lovely, comfortable bed, attractive decor, large shower, bathtub and French doors opening out onto a small deck. There was also complimentary wine and fruit. The food was great; lots of choice, well cooked and presented. Our guide, Tuan, was excellent.... More

You must do this when in Vietnam. I wish we had stayed for the 2 night/3 day cruise. From the departure lounge, it was very organised, with coloured stickers denoting which group to which boat. We were given a schedule, which was tight, but then it needed to be to cram everything in. We started with a 6 course degustation... More

We were sailing for 2days/1night on a beautiful ship from Indochinas Sails. What a nice trip. Cleen cabins nr 103,104 with bathroom and shower (nr 102 was small and more noisy) . Good beds and a big window. Annie, David and the crew was the best people you could ever have, nice and friendly. They were kind, positive, smiling, and... More

Just came back from a cruise on the Indochina Sails Premium. Paid a lot of money for this cruise and was disappointed. Originally scheduled on the Treasure Junk, but changed to this boat to be with a group. Found the experience underwhelming and expensive. Sailing time is only a few hours our of the 22 hours you are on the... More

Dear our valued guest, Firslty, our cruise team thank you very much for choosing Indochina Sails for recent sail in Halong Bay. I am very concerned that you were not completely satisfied with your experience. Specifically, as to the 9:30 cabin check-out time, yes, I agree it is a bit early, but once again it is the normal for all... More

we were assigned a smaller Junk boat with only 8 of us in 4 rooms. The crew were lovely and more than accommodating throughout. The food was excellent and they catered for anyone with issues. The trip itself was ok here's a few useful tips for other travellers. Take warm clothing, it's can be cold sometimes, especially at night outside... More
