Description: What better way to enjoy the spectacular scenery of this UNESCO World...
What better way to enjoy the spectacular scenery of this UNESCO World Heritage Site than on board an Indochina Sails or Valentine Junk! With over a decade of hosting international guests on the tranquil waters of Halong Bay, Indochina Sails has set the standard for luxury cruising. The first company to offer overnight cruises on the bay, Indochina Sails is now widely known as the number one choice for discerning travelers, operating a fleet of six newly built wooden junks designed in time-honored traditional style, with contemporary and luxurious cabins and facilities. Our boats feature spacious, well-appointed cabins and suites with large en-suite bathrooms, large sundecks with comfortable lounging furniture and elegant dining rooms and bars. We have designed and fitted our boats to international standards while maintaining traditional styling, creating the perfect balance of modern comforts and nostalgic ambiance.

We went on a one night cruise on Indochina Sails 1. It was exceptionally good. The boat, cabin, staff, food and tour leader, all could not be faulted. The area is extremely beautiful and being there at sunrise and sunset was great. Our early morning climb to the top of the hill on Tiptop Island was very strenuous with steep... More

Me and my family was on a cruise through Sout-East Asia and while at dock in Halong Bay we had booked a one-night cruise with Indochina sails. It was an amazing trip in beautiful surroundings. The cabins was very nice, the food delicious and the service impeccable. We also had a couple of excursion to the fishing village and some... More

My wife Joy and I took a three day two night excursion around Halong Bay with Indochina sails. The scenery was utterly stunning seriously breathtaking. The boat was exceptionally well organised, the food was perfect and the bedroom fit for any 5 star hotel. We even had a small balcony The crew delivered wonderful service. Look out for Nhu Thuy... After surviving the incredible drive from Hanoi to Ha Long, we got to know our great tour guide Annie on the ship Indochina 1. We were quite surprised how spacious the cabins were - and the bathrooms! I also liked it very much, that the bed was on window height, so that you could see the islands laying in bed...... More

I was prepared for disappointment as I had heard that Halong bay was an example of how tourism had been badly handled (eg the universal painting of the boats white had destroyed the richness of the painted boats etc) but the sheer beauty of Halong Bay wins out. It was v busy with boats overnight but the indochina Sails Tour... More

Halong Bay is a uniquely beautiful environment, and the opportunity to spend an overnight there was just wonderful. Our boat was exotic and well appointed. Rooms were comfortable with a glorious view from the window as we sailed through the bay. Dinner was good and we had the chance to go squid fishing afterwards. I caught the only squid which... More

We spent Christmas eve and day with this tour and had amazing time (2 days/1 night). The boat, food, service and cabin were fantastic and the scenery was beyond our expectations. Opt for the kayaking as it was fantastic. Well worth the extra money compared to other boats or rock bottom price tours.....from what we saw, "you get what you... More

We decided that this was one thing we were willing to spend money on to ensure a good experience, and despite the fact this tour was the most expensive thing we did on our trip through Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam, we have no regrets in having paid top dollar for this company's services. Our boat had about twenty cabins on... More
