We arrived at our small boutique hotel (6 on Sixteen) very near Hoan Kiem lake at 10.30am from the airport. Our lovely guides from Hanoikids were there on the dot at 11am. My two young daughters immediately took to Khun and SuSu and treated them like big sisters and best friends for the rest of the day. With our local... More

You can customize the tours to your liking and the service is totally free of charge. What's not to like? The kids provide invaluable insight to the various musuems and sightseeing spots. They speak good english and are hugely helpful in navigating around chaotic Vietnam. They can help to call for reliable cabs and bring you to the local food... More

After reading the rave reviews about Hanoikids on this site and having a day free in Hanoi, my friends and I thought we would like to see what all the fuss was about. Unable to book a full day tour which was our intention, we settled for a half day tour instead. We met our guides, Yen and Carnation, at... More

If you are looking for natural, down to earth tour guides this is it! We had two guides from Hanoi Kids with us for one day. It was a stinking hot day, around 39 degrees celcius in which we were out and about for 6 hours. The tour guides provided a genuiness and warmth to the information they are sharing... More

This was a true highlight of our trip the two girls that took us on the tours were fantastic, they answered all our questions and shared their experiences and knowledge of Hanoi with us. Our first day in Hanoi and khang an absolutley beautiful girl met us at hotel, we went to the silk village - fabulous, to the lake and temple. Had a wonderful lunch and then the tour of Old Quarter, stopping for egg coffee in a secluded little cafe, apart from the heat and my soor feet, I could not have... More

So much fun and relaxation! HanoiKids Tour is a non-profit team composed of young and active students voluntarily working for the benefit of English skill practicing. Our guide took us to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Temple of Literature, Hoan Kiem Lake and Old Quarter. He was very knowledgeable, telling us a lot of stories and anecdotes unfound in guidebooks, and... HanoiKids deserve to be the best tour in Hanoi. It's a great concept for cultural exchange and helps visitor feels welcome in a foreign land. We had booked 2 half days (1st week of May 2012) tour with HanoiKids and the experience was memorable. On the first day we met Nougat for the tour to Ho Chi Minh (HCM) mausoleum,... More

Hanoikids is essentially an organization run by Hanoi-based students to provide pro bono sightseeing services (only basic fees like meals, transport and admission fees to the attractions for the guide are covered by you) for visitors to Hanoi. In return, this presents an opportunity for Hanoikids members to practise their English. We are truly impressed with the levels of enthusiasm,... More

We were greeted by 2 undergratuates when we visited Hanoi in Apr 2012. As we have limited time, we only managed to went Temple of Literature & Vietnam Musuem of Ethnology. Both kids were good with the explaination and introduction of both places. And they are so patient in showing & giving us the info. Apart from the above 2... More
