We had our 2 guides meet us in our hotel lobby. From then, it was a great experience and we got to know a lot more about Hanoi, the country and how their generation is inspired to learn, help and be superb ambassadors! We went to the Ho-chi Minh mausoleum, then a fantastic restaurant and a museum and finished off... More

We spent a morning of April with 2 girls Phuong and Tung. We discovered a lot of Hanoi history and culture. We also really enjoyed talking to the girls about their lives in Hanoi, their studies and their ambitions. Highly recommended to spend some time with Hanoi kids. If you're like us and like a lot of self-exploring, spend a... More

We did the food tour with Hanoi kids. It was very cool being out with a local and seeing where he was going to take us. We could ask him anything we wanted. Great tour but the food was really average. Best part was the coconut ice cream at the end.

What a great concept - match travellers and local students who want to practice their language skills and show us their city. This is one of the two main organisations that does it and we tried them both. Very little to choose between them but I thought Ngoc (aka Jamie) our guide from HK was more engaging and excited about... More

So we had a day to kill in Hanoi between returning from a tour and leaving for Hue and our travel agent recommended HanoiKids. We emailed two days in advance and got a prompt reply confirming our date and time and desired destination. On the day of the tour our guides showed up promptly at 9 and got us a... More

We booked a half day & while one was a little late this was more than made up for as both Tom & Di stayed with us to 1.30pm. Our visit was to The Temple of Literature, a rewarding experience made more so by being able to ask questions, all answered without hesitation. As we had been to lots of... More

We were joined for an evening by Thuy Trang and Quang Thang from Hanoi Kids for a foodie tour. They took us for a three hour walking tour to try noodles, crab rice, sweet soup and amazing egg coffee - all the spots were great and they pointed out interesting things along the way and told us about their lives...
