Just spent the morning with the lovely Bi and Tino. They were super company took us to interesting places , including authentic Vietnamese coffee bar and restaurant. My wife and I really enjoyed ourselves. We are hoping to book a street food trip as well. Thoroughly recommend them.

We were in a large group, so were delighted when three smiling, helpful university students turned up at our hotel to show us around the Old Town and the French Quarter. They were all most helpful and as our group included 5 university-aged youngsters, they related well to everyone. I was very impressed with the way the Hanoi Kids guides... More

My partner and I spent a delightful day with Nhat (Sunny) - an intelligent, articulate and enthusiastic advocate for her home city of Hanoi. We visited the Ethnology Museum and the Temple of Literature and Nhat's knowledge and insights into both were great. We were too late to go inside the HCM Mausoleum as we spent more time over lunch... More

A group of 5 friends had a morning walking tour with Joe and Kun who were fabulous tour guides. They both arrived at the hotel on time and and we specified where we wanted to visit and they worked out the best route. The guides were just amazing - fun, friendly, professional and spoke great English. We visited Ho Chi... More

I will recommend any tourists that are visiting Hanoi to have a tour with HanoiKids. Linh and Ha were our tour guides. They brought us to the Museum of Ethnology. They told us some additional information about the ethnic people that were not stated there in the museum. I don't really like to visit museum. However during the visit to... More

Definitely do this if you want to meet some local students and see the city from their perspective. We had lovely guys who our kids really got on with. They were a lot of fun and very informative. They took us to the Hanoi Hilton (prison) and were able to tell us a lot about what when on there... They... More

Thuy met us at our hotel for a very informative tour! We came to Hanoi with no set itinerary, and asked her to suggest some sights. Even though it was raining, we enjoyed seeing several sights accompanied by her knowledgeable commentary. She even took us to a hidden egg coffee cafe -- which we returned to with friends the next... This was a wonderful opportunity to explore local attractions with friendly and knowledgeable guides - in our instance 2 fantastic university students Linh Chi and Kieu Anh. We were free to choose our own itinerary, but took the advice of our guides as to the best places to visit. They provided a rich and detailed commentary about each attraction, and... More

We met two lovely guides, an 'oldie' and and a 'newbie'. We were taken to Museum of Ethnology for a guided tour. The kids were extremely knowledgeable and lots of fun just to chat with about day to day life in Hanoi. Please keep in mind this is a volunteer service and a cultural exchange. You get to learn about... More
