We absolutely loved this tour. Our guides, Viet and Tung were so much fun, really wonderful people who gave us superb insight on Vietnamese culture, food and history. They sweated through extreme heat to give us a fantastic tour (it was about 40 degrees C or 100 F with humidity!). Our guides spoke perfect english, and we had no problem... More

This is a wonderful way to spend either a day or half day getting to know Hanoi, and to meet friendly local people who are interested to talk to you and improve their English and their understanding of our culture. Bino and Viet met us at our hotel and gave up a wonderful trip to the Temple of Literature, followed... More

We did a tour with two of the Hanoikids in July 2014. They came to our hotel and asked what we would like to see. They brought us around the Temple of Literature. It was good to have a guide to explain the history of the temple. Once that was over, they brought us on a tour around the Old... More

Tai brought us to many attractions during our trip. He is fluent in English and can speak basic mandarin. Very friendly and will accommodate to our request. Bought us around old quarters to purchase local products as requested by us. Thumbs up.

HanoiKids are without any doubt the best tour group available in Hanoi. Combine the enthusiasm of young adults volunteering to show you the sights along with their excellent knowledge of the sites and you have undoubtedly the best personalized tour available. My wife and I arrived in Hanoi on a Monday morning -- Monday afternoon was filled with a 1/2-day... More

Sky and Phoenix were just fantastic, informative and so friendly. This is a volunteer group and they are very knowledgable about hanoi. We spent half a day waking around with them. They took us to some great sites, then some shopping and finally some great local cuisine. We paid for the lunch and offered them some money at the end... More

The concept here is that local college students get to practice their English and you get a free tour of some of Hanoi's top attractions, paying only the minimal admission fees, cab fares and any refreshments. Members of the English club must undergo rigorous screening and you won't be disappointed. My guide admitted to being a bit of a nerd,... More

Four of us had the best afternoon with our two very charming, articulate and well informed Hanoikids on July 2nd. Bi and Bino were so hospitable ,helpful and great ambassadors for their Country. I found out about the programme on Trip advisor and it was the best bit of information we had in planning our trip. Hanoi kids exceeded expectations... More

Our first day in Vietnam with our 2 boys, what a nice welcome! Today we were accompanied by 2 great girls Racoon and Hoa who showed us around Hanoi. Very friendly and a great way to learn more about this fantastic country, people and their habits. Absolutely recommendable!! Chris&Katja (NL)

A tour with HanoiKids is one of the best things to do in Hanoi. Our tour guide Tony met us in our hotel and asked us where we wanted to go and we took off from there. He spoke good English and was very knowledgeable with the places we visited. We decided to go to the Temple of Literature and... More
