We booked this over the internet before arriving in Vietnam and this was very smooth although there was a small hiccup with the confirmation of payment due to a local public holiday. All payments were made through paypal in advance. we were picked up from our hotel and taken in a 12 seater minibus to Ha Long Bay. One stop...

A short boat trip from the junk and we alighted on a sandy beach of Bai Tu Long Bay. Very pretty and popular. I could not bring myself to swim - the water looked a bit oily.

We went to halong bay with indochina junk boats and booked the dragon pearl 2 for 150usd per person which includes transfers to and from our hotel in Hanoi.
The cruise was fantastic. It is a beautiful place and the boat was clean and spacious.

Neither words nor pictures can describe the magical beauty of the bay with mysterious caves, hidden lagoons, well-kept naturel beaches, the boat villages and magnificent karst mountains dotted the mirrored water under the mist as if there were only to further dramatically enhance.

We went on one night tour of Bai Tu Long Bay (north of Halong Bay) on the Dragon's Pearl 3 with company Indochina Junks, and it was amazing! The boat was spacious and spotless, and had everything we needed. The food was AMAZING! And the service could not be faulted! And the best part was that we hardly saw any...
