In Halong Bay over four hundred boats bring thousands of tourists each day so hundreds of tourists converge on the same place at the same time. At Sung Sot Cave you are likely to encounter 6 or 7 other groups of tourists in the chamber making it difficult to hear your tour guide’s talk about the geological value of the cave and how it was formed. Contrastingly Bai Tu Long Bay will charm you with its wild beauty with stone mountains, caves, long sandy beach, corals, forests, mangrove forests and lovely fishing village – and few tourists. It is rare to find a place on Halong Bay that is as packed full of aesthetic beauty, biodiversity, and culture as Bai Tu Long Bay – an outdoor museum where more than 340 millions years of history is stored and conserved with places such as: Da Xep Park, Ang Cong Dam, Thien Canh Son Cave, Quan Lan Island, and Vung Vieng fishing village…JSC Indochina Junk is proud to be the first and only company to have luxury boats that take tourists to the Bai Tu Long Bay area with many packages to choose from – kayaking; discovering the geology, geomorphologic and biodiversity value of the bay; fishing trips; talking with people in fishing villages; coral diving; and cycling on islands.Board our junks to explore the most beautiful routes in Halong Bay. « less

We traveled Halong for 3 days on the 2-cabin White Dolphin Cruise. Thanks to AsiaTourAdvisor for having recommended this company for us. We don’t really know if this is the best cruise in Halong or not but actually meets everything we need for a cruise tour in Southeast Asia. The first impression when we boarded the boat was its beauty... More

We booked 2 day/1 night voyage with Columbus Cruise on board Santa Maria as it is among a few brands cruising in Bai Tu Long bay. Comparing to its famous neighbor - Halong Bay, Bai Tu Long's scenery is almost the same, expressed with limestone islands rising from the crystal water, but less developed and less traveled. We hardly saw... More

We booked this over the internet before arriving in Vietnam and this was very smooth although there was a small hiccup with the confirmation of payment due to a local public holiday. All payments were made through paypal in advance. we were picked up from our hotel and taken in a 12 seater minibus to Ha Long Bay. One stop... More

A short boat trip from the junk and we alighted on a sandy beach of Bai Tu Long Bay. Very pretty and popular. I could not bring myself to swim - the water looked a bit oily. More

Together with Halong Bay, Bai Tu Long Bay is also another spectacular wonder of nature. The thousands of astounding islands rising from the crystal water and many weird limestone mountains on the bay. Bai Tu Long also possesses the graceful and marvelous beauty of a virgin adorned with long and pure sandy beaches and clear waves. It was our luck... More

We went to halong bay with indochina junk boats and booked the dragon pearl 2 for 150usd per person which includes transfers to and from our hotel in Hanoi. The cruise was fantastic. It is a beautiful place and the boat was clean and spacious. We moored at a small island where we walked to see fantastic views, a cave... More

Neither words nor pictures can describe the magical beauty of the bay with mysterious caves, hidden lagoons, well-kept naturel beaches, the boat villages and magnificent karst mountains dotted the mirrored water under the mist as if there were only to further dramatically enhance. To discover this mystical beauty aboard an intimate ship of regal comfort were as if be transported... More

We went on one night tour of Bai Tu Long Bay (north of Halong Bay) on the Dragon's Pearl 3 with company Indochina Junks, and it was amazing! The boat was spacious and spotless, and had everything we needed. The food was AMAZING! And the service could not be faulted! And the best part was that we hardly saw any... More

Nothing to dislike on here, go cave walking or Kayaking, or swim. The place is beautiful and a fantastic part of my red dragon package. More
