Ha Long Bay, in the Gulf of Tonkin, includes some 1,600 islands and islets, forming a spectacular seascape of limestone pillars. Because of their precipitous nature, most of the islands are uninhabited and unaffected by a human presence. The site's outstanding scenic beauty is complemented by its great biological interest. The outstanding value of the property is centered around the drowned limestone karst landforms, displaying spectacular pillars with a variety of coastal erosional features such as arches and caves which form a majestic natural scenery. The repeated regression and transgression of the sea on the limestone karst over geological time has produced a mature landscape of clusters of conical peaks and isolated towers which were modified by sea invasion, adding an extra elemant to the process of lateral undercutting of the limstone towers and islands.

A 4 hour drive along pot holed roads at high speed was not a good start to the day. 1 comfort stop at a tourist trap on the way was nothing special. By the time we waited for other groups to arrive it was 2.30 pm before the boat left the harbour and 3pm before we were served a very... More

When the first time we arrive in Vietnam, the first thing that we want to try is halong bay cruise. But the problem is we arrive not in good time, it was cold season ( around 7-12°C ) so we decide to take only one day trip for halong bay. We little bit bit afraid in the beginning cause we... More

We booked a fantastic cruise through Halong Bay Cruises No Limit website for our holiday. We enjoyed the activities during our trip included: kayak, caves, floating villages, cookig class, fishing, islands. We loved all food at meals on boat, they were all delicious and tasty. They also arranged a private transfer from Halong Bay directly to airport after our cruise.... More

The tour of Halong Bay was amazing. Words can't describe the beautiful setting and the incredible rocks/islands. We did an overnight on a small cruiser. I'd recommend a day trip instead.

We spent a night out in halong bay with L'azalee cruises and it was a fantastic experience, i recommend everyone find a good cruise like this one and spend time out in the bay, it would be worthwhile coming back again in the hot months to swim and see more of it.

They offered great food and activities during our trip which were included as promise. We did kayaking and joyed cave tours as well.
