This is a lovely place to visit. We caught the cable car both ways. There are lots of tourists and many do treat it like a 'Disneyland' experience but it is still a peaceful place. Just enjoy the experience and ignore the chaos around you. It's great to be able to talk to the monks and take time to breathe... More

Understanding that DaLat is a popular holiday destination for Vietnamese locals you'll forgive the crowds here and appreciate why they've separated the 'touristy' temple from the main monastery. The highlight was getting the cable car to it.

We chose to go in by cable car. The view was superb, you may see panaroma view of Dalat city. After we reached the highest point of cable car and descending, the view with lake is awesome!! As rain was pretty heavy during our visit, we barely visited the temple, garden and the nearby lake. we were too cold to... More

Release from noisy daily life by the combination of Flowers, Views, Trees, Religion, etc. Let come on formal days ( except 1st, 15st, 30th in lunar calendar), because it is crowd at that days.

A great experience to ride above the pine trees to the pagoda. We went early, got a taxi to the cable car for two dollars and went staright onto an empty car. The pagoda area is noce, although had far too many selfie wielding people around for my liking! The guides say you need long trousers for the pagoda visit,... More

The next morning at 8:00, I hired a Xe Om (motorcycle rider service) from a Mr. Anh, who hangs around the front of the hotel and frequently provides this kind of service to Paris inn guests. He took me to the Truc Lam pagoda which was approximately 5.0 km from the city center. This is one of many pagodas built... More

Only pants allowed to get an entry to the pagoda. You can enjoy many kinds of flowers here, walk along Tuyen Lam pool and take some pictures.

If you are on a budget and looking for walking instead of motorbiking, you can easily walk to the cable car. From dalat center it takes about one hour, if you walk relaxed, shorter if you walk faster. The walk is along a big road but their are sidewalks all the time and you walk along nice buildings. Walking is... More

A nice cable car ride across to the monastery, a great exposure to vegetation and hills. I recommend arriving early at 830 am to catch the cable car and arriving at the monastery early and leaving at 11 am to avoid the tourist crowd in order to enjoy the peace and serene environment. In addition, the early start in the... More
