We choose to go to Mekong River Cruise over the Chi Chi tunnel due to time constraint. The river cruise was alright. I think one could use do the same in Bangkok along the Chao Phraya river, where the khongs (little river alley) were much more interesting and perhaps more reflective of a local's way of life than the tour... more
