Mr. Ba organised everything for my parents my brothers and I (all adults), from helping us obtain our Visa on arrival, to picking us up at Hanoi airport and bring us to our hotel, to picking us up at our hotel and bringing us to Cat Ba island and back to our hotel after the 2 day trip on the... I highly recommend EcoFriendly Vietnam for your Ha Long Bay tour. Every detail was taken care of by Mr Ba, Mr Quan, Long, Sugar and Captain Vien. We had a lot of fun cruising the bay, swimming and kayaking amongst the limestone outcrops. The private boat experience suited our small family. We ate delicious food and enjoyed lots of laughs... No doubt about this being the best way to see and feel Halong Bay. Worth every dollar. I went there with my wife and three other friends and we loved it. The boat is nice, the food is great and our guide, Long, was amazing explaining everything. Because we finished out tour before, they offered us a visit to an... More

It felt like a yacht. It was a wonderful 2 bedroom boat with a huge dining area (enough for 8) up front in a glassed in area where you will eat the best meals prepared by your own private chef. The rooms were huge as well, I would estimate 10 feet by 12 feet with each bedroom having it's own... More

My friend and I booked Eco friendly cruises at last minute in January 15. We should not have worried about the weather because it was perfect . Fresh at night time but clear blue skies and clear waters in the Bay. Mr BA helped us arrange everything and was very responsive even from European time zones . From the on... More

We took a Halong Bay Cruise for "4 days and 3 nights." What this really means is 2 full days on the water with a half day on either side. Apparently this is longer than most people take, but we were glad to have the extra time. Our guide had very good English, The Captain was an expert, and his... More

We were quite blown away by our 3 day, 2 night cruise in Cat Ba island. We booked at the last minute (just a few hours prior to going - we were lucky as it was the low season and we could be accommodated). We were whisked onto a small boat which led us to a bigger boat which became... More

My husband and I hired an "Eco Friendly" junk boat to visit Lan Ha Bay- Cat Ba Island for a 2 days/ 1 night excursion in November. We wanted the travel to be as easy and stress free as possible so we prearranged for the company to also shuttle us from Hanoi's French Quarter to Hai Phong (2 hours). The... More

We were two families traveling together with 5 x children aged between 10 yrs and 17 yrs. Our tour guide 'Long' was very attentive and informative. The kids loved jumping off the boat into the water. The kayaking allowed us to take in the beautiful surrounds. We rode bikes to and through a local village which was very insightful. The... More

I really enjoy beautiful natural places when I'm not surrounded by throngs of fellow visitors. For my wife and I it was a no-brainer to see Halong Bay by private boat tour. There were a number of choices, of which we chose Eco Friendly Vietnam because of their all around togetherness, including responding to emails quickly, their emphasis on an... More
