We played the Canyon Course in December 2014, after having played there are couple of times around 2005. Sorry to say but this is not the best course on Phuket anymore. Blue Canyon is ageing and it shows. Fairways still look good but paths, drink huts, rest rooms, club house etc. look and feel old. Worn furniture in the locker... More

I arranged for two lessons and two teaching rounds with Blue Canyon’s resident PGA teaching professional Stephen Chick. Stephen is very good at observing then analyzing and ultimately correcting. I improved tremendously from lesson 1 to lesson 4. I was particularly pleased with Stephen’s attention to detail reading my goal to correct the inherited slice from years of bad habits... More

I have played this course over 50 times....the majority of these games being played from 2005 - 8..I always loved the place. However, nowadays, it is not what it used to be. Principle complaint is that it is now grossly overpriced for the level of quality on offer. The layout of the Canyon course is wonderful, but make sure you... More

I have been a regular visitor to Phuket and one my usual practices is to play golf at Blue Canyon with a friend of mine who has been a member of the club for many years. I have seen many changes at BC over the years, with the place deteriorating. A fight between shareholders means that no one is willing... More

The Canyon course is a walking course only and a very long and testing golfing challenge. A must play along with Red Mountain

We played the Lakes course and it soon became apparent my caddy was not a caddy at all! She had now idea of any distances or indeed how to read a putt on a green!! I was completely on my own, which wouldn't normally bother me, but on an unfamiliar course and paying for the privilege, it just ruined a... More

After 7 holes the heavens opened and the course was unplayable. We were in two four ball groups and the caddies explained that as we had not yet played nine we could carry on until the ninth and then go back and get half our green fees back which is only fair as it's not the cheapest place to play... Just back from honeymoon where i was 'released' for a day to do my own thing! I had always wanted to play here after watching Tiger play. The director of golf 'Oliver' looked after me well, showing me around and sorting out a caddy before i was paired up with a few members. The course really is first class. fantastic... More
