One of the few beaches in Thailand that I had no complaints...it was clean, easy to swim in and safe for swimming...thoroughly recommend it.

Theres nothing to do apart from laying in the sun and drink a beer. Not alot of people go on this beach either. Ive noticed alot more of elderly people here. There is no nightlife or activities like on Patong. On the other hand its a great beah if you want to be alone as theres alot of empty spaces... More

I love ocean swimming and couldn't wait to jump in but OMG the sea lice killed me...and the stingers. This beach was lovely to sit and look at but be warned. I don't remember the same issue when I stayed in Koh Samui last year so not sure if this is unique to here and Patong beach or I was... More

Beautiful beach, but there is a big drop and the water is very choppy, with big waves. Rough sand. Not great for swimming!

If you are looking for the craze like there is at the Patong beach let me save you time and stop reading now. This is mostly a quite area. Walk along the water to replenish energy and listen to the sounds of waves washing ashore. Get a Thai massage for 300-400 on the beach or have a quick bite in... More

The beach is nice but different to what I imagined. There is grass growing on it and hawkers selling things all the time which I initially felt uncomfortable with but soon grew used to and we ended up buying all our drinks and fresh melon from them, so it worked to our advantage that they were there

Since the Royal Thai Navy tore down all the beach restaurants there is no attraction here anymore, no sunbeds or umbrellas are allowed. All commercial activities are supposed to be banned, but jet skis and para sailers are allowed, maybe you can put 2 & 2 together and guess why. This is true of every beach on Phuket I live... More

We stayed at the Amora resort, and the beach was gorgeous. Lovely and clean since the Army did the clear up, and because of the tides the sea is flat most of the time. One of the best beaches on the island.

It's really hard to notice Gaia bar, as it is a small shack on the beach with a few sunbeds and tables. If I hadn't had friends who live in Phuket and come here often, I wouldn't have had a chance to enjoy the sunset at this amazing place with a coconut in my hands. Peaceful and beautiful.
