Bang Tao Beach had the red flag flapping in the wind (meaning absolutely no swimming!!) but this did not stop a few from going for a swim in its inviting waters...!! For the timid like us, we took a stroll on the beach from the Dusit Thani to the Angsana where we saw the many activities on the beach from... More

The best beach in Phuket. There is a massage hut on the beach. One can also order freshly made fruit platters and cocktails from the ladies that walk along the beach with menu's. The Jet ski's are quite pricy and hence found it a waste of money but the overall beach experience is incredibly awesome. We stayed on the beach... More

I occasionally went to Bang Tao beach ( mostly the south end ) end of last year and found the place very nice. Its - as far as I remember - the longest beach on Phuket. Now - after the "invention" of the army - all lounge chairs, beach clubs and restaurants are gone ( or most oft them )... More

We are very frequent clients to Bang Tao beach / Laguna area. But as the army has decided to enforce the law and return the beach to its public property status, all restaurants, bars and even beach clubs (except the Xana Club) have been completely demolished. Including institutions such as Lotus restaurant. The beach looks really terrible as it will... More

Great long beach with white sand, can be very strong waves and windy but still lovely. some bars and restaurants are dotted along the beach and one of them called Lotus is well worth going to, however you really need to book as it is SO popular and good value too. Bang tao is a long curved beach and great... More

Super, clean, tidy beach and with a few beach bars offering beers/ snacks etc without ripping you off. Watersports readily available and a safe/ clean environment. If the red flags are showing though DON'T GO SWIMMING!!!

The Laguna area at Bang Tao Beach Phuket is for us the perfect vacation destination. We have been holidaying here over the past six years and look forward to each visit. My wife and I sometimes stop over at Laguna Phuket on our journey home to Australia from abroad. The area is very safe and set in a purpose designed... More

Relax...great atmosphere, a plus to bring your family, multiple swimming pool to choose for, it so far the best stay i ever had. Like a piece of cake, the colourful icing reflect how the pool temptation might attract one..lovely

Fantastic food, beautiful sunset, very welcoming staff. To sit here watching a sunset with a cocktail was a beautiful experience and a must for every visitor! Fresh fish , fantastic authentic flavours, nice people and sand underfoot - heaven! And to cap it all, very fair price too! Going back for lobster this week!

Not the best beach in Thailand. Sea is not crystal clear. Water is shallow for a couple of meters but if youdon't know swimming, you should be careful because there are some pits in the water.
