Beautiful secluded beach

A little gem in the over developed Phuket...yes it is a clim but well worth it. During the rainy season swimming can be dangerous due to current and swell.

Nice & not thronged with too many tourists. Good beach with beach vendors offering nice Umbrella & mattress. Drinks & snacks are available too. It was a tiring climb back to the road for me but it must have been worse for some middle-aged people & some gals who stopped to rest once or twice before they could reach the... More

Decided to visit because it was listed as a beach with great snorkelling. It didn't disappoint. Lots of coral around and bring your fins to swim to the north outcrop. You must be a strong swimmer though. Umbrellas can be rented for 100bht. We saw some travellers trying to haggle the price to rent snorkelling gear but it sounded like... More

The beach is very beautiful, not very crowded but the entrance is quite tricky. The beach is 4-5km from Patong and the entrance is on your left, but you wouldn't see the beach, just a small sign and small parking lot. Then you have to go down by stairs which is pretty tiring to go up afterward

I thought it would have been a quieter and more relaxing beach than it was. There were many people there and lots of beach sales people pushing sunglasses chairs and umbrellas. They also were renting jetskis from the beach the had them drive through all the swimmers

We arrived at the beach at 10.30 and it looked beautiful. After a few minutes, the jet skis arrived with their noisy engines and pollution. Then crowds of mainly French speaking men came in groups and took over the beach. They played loud music and shouted. This only got worse as the day went on. Early afternoon we gave up... More

Loved going here everyday. So much smaller then kamala beach yet so much nicer. The huge rocks around make it that much more inviting. There are lots of people yet it doesn't feel over crowded.

Spend a couple of days at this great beach. Water is really nice and the beach not overcrowded. Still people though, but you get the feeling of being closer to paradise. From the road you have to walk down several steps. About 5-min, but it's all worth it. Food can be bought at the beach. Towels, beach chairs a.s.o are... More
