Having spent 2x6 month long vacation on the island, I never visited Patong beach for a swim, much rather I rode my bike looking for quiet, secluded places. Laem Singh was one of them and the first beach I visited upon a friend's recommendation. A beautiful place, when not full of tourists, which in high season is possible only early... More

The precarious stairs no doubt turn a lot of people off, but their are a lot of positives for those who make the effort. You get a beautiful, small and quiet beach. The water is nice and clear with small sets of waves breaking which add to the fun. There are also plenty of deck chairs in nice shady areas.... More

Lame Sing is a good spot for people who don't like things too crowded, even in the low season. The waves cam get big here so be careful venturing out onto the rocks as well. There has been at least 1 confirmed fatality here earlier in the year.

Having sampled a few of the beaches already in Phuket, and wanting to steer clear of the more commercial and touristy Patong, we discovered Laem Singh by driving past on the beach road and seeing the sign. It's a tough one with beaches because to a certain extent you do need a bit more of a developed environment if you've... More

This beach is an amazing hidden treasure. The stairs however are killer and even worse on the way back up. I wouldn't suggest for people that are elderly or unfit. Once you reach the bottom of the stairs it is well worth it. A gorgeous beach with deck chairs which you need to pay for. A handful of little restaurants... More

This beautiful beach is just around the corner from the Novotel Hotel in Kamala Beach. We had stopped at the look-out point before and spotted this small, beautiful half-moon crescent from above. We were wondering how to access this secluded beach. I guess you have a choice: hire a longboat from Kamala beach and get to Laem Sing by boat.... More

a trip to this secluded beach is a must when in Phuket. It is tucked away nicely which ensures it never gets too busy. Once you arrive at the beach you are greeted with crystal clear water and soft sand. This is definitely a must see attraction! There is also a good restaurant on the beach so no need to... More

Nice beach but killer of a journey back up to your bike ... you need a lie down once you ve finished the mammoth walk up to the main road where you park up.

Spend a full beach day at Laem Sing with a possibility of water sports fun as well.. About six nice restaurants- I would recommend Di Ali Restaurant. Many different choices to choose from. Beach is not too crowded, but well worth spending a full day at this wonderful beach. Tip* Don't leave the beach before 6pm. Most tourists leave by... More

Nice beach. Harder to get too because you have to traverse down stairs to reach the beach. Fine for us but might be hard if you are not In good shape - because you have to walk back up to get to the road. A small beach with not a big swimming area but it's nice. Snorkeling. Great frozen drinks... More
