We arrived around 530, walked around , grabbed a couple drinks and tried the great street food surrounding this location. We went up to the hillside around 6 and watch a beautiful sunset over the ocean. Definitely worth an hour and a half one afternoon while in Phuket. I emphasize ... Try the street food here... Best (and cheapest) I... More

The is one of the most popular tourist stop off points in Phuket, and it is certainly worth the journey up there as the view from the top is breathtaking, we were there during the day and it was very crowded but still managed to get some nice pictures without people getting in the way. The sunsets from here are... More

Island's most photographed and probably best-known location for so many activities. There are many other small islands located around. Strolling along the beach to shopping and eating, everything is available here. Towards the evening, the street is buzzling with tourist.

the sunset is just fine and there was a huge crowd with all the people excited with their phone so they don't miss the photo they need to post on facebook. anyway bad experience and doesn't worth the money spent for the taxi.

Top spot to stop as part of a Phuket tour. Many stop here for the sunsets, around 6-30pm, but place has lots of visitors. The roads have reently been resurfaced around ther, so driving is a pleasure, especially on a motorbike.

Phrompthep Cape is know for having incredible sunsets. Unfortunately everyone knows this and when our driver took us there for sunset pictures the place was completely overrun with other tourists. I am not a fan of huge crowds of tourists - so we took a fairly quick look around and quickly went through the lighthouse interpretive center and then got... More

Being at the southern tip of the island, you can expect a beautiful view, but don't expect more.. cause nothing else to do but just grab a place to adjust yourself ( it gets very crowded.) Unfortunately it was a cloudy day when we went there. ( December 18,2015) but still we had a nice time. Don't expect that you... More

As the southern tip of Phuket, nice place to watch the sunset. Get there before 5.30pm to be safe. Depending on where you drive from, you will pass some nice viewpoints along the way that are worth stopping for.

From all positive reviews and feedbacks it was expected to see much more in this place.. But nothing really much except a refreshing sea view and a hill full of elephant statues. if you have an hour to spare it could be a nice place to sit and relax.
