Top spot to stop as part of a Phuket tour. Many stop here for the sunsets, around 6-30pm, but place has lots of visitors. The roads have reently been resurfaced around ther, so driving is a pleasure, especially on a motorbike.

Phrompthep Cape is know for having incredible sunsets. Unfortunately everyone knows this and when our driver took us there for sunset pictures the place was completely overrun with other tourists. I am not a fan of huge crowds of tourists - so we took a fairly quick look around and quickly went through the lighthouse interpretive center and then got... More

Being at the southern tip of the island, you can expect a beautiful view, but don't expect more.. cause nothing else to do but just grab a place to adjust yourself ( it gets very crowded.) Unfortunately it was a cloudy day when we went there. ( December 18,2015) but still we had a nice time. Don't expect that you... More

As the southern tip of Phuket, nice place to watch the sunset. Get there before 5.30pm to be safe. Depending on where you drive from, you will pass some nice viewpoints along the way that are worth stopping for.

From all positive reviews and feedbacks it was expected to see much more in this place.. But nothing really much except a refreshing sea view and a hill full of elephant statues. if you have an hour to spare it could be a nice place to sit and relax.

As we circumnavigated the island as best we could it is inevitable you will turn up at the South tip of Phuket and this is where you will find the Cape. Apart from the view which is spectacular there is a shrine and a memorial. The shrine is beautifully adored with elephants of all shapes and sizes, it is a... More

we raced across the island to make it to the cape on time for sunset. despite all the crowds, I was able to find parking on the street right in front of the steps. Got some beautiful pics, and even got a little shopping in after the crowds had left. Try to make the trip if you have time.

Really nice place but very overcrowded! The view is spectacular though. Relax on the wall for a while and watch the lizards scurry around your feet :) go on a nice clear day though, can't imagine the view is great when it rains

Nice place to visited, If you ride a bike go around Phuket. Going down to the reef, is a good idea, but need a little physical, and the last point to the reef, need to climp down and later up a little bit. Alternative, you can stopped went reach the last slope, where most the local will track down here.
