Good views of islands and the sea but not much more. Nice little motorbike trip around the island and you get to see Phukets natural beauty but there isn't much on Phrompthep Cape.

Especially sunset time would be perfect to be here. Many types of tourist are taking photos themselves. In the middle of day time is too hot to struggle strong sunshine unless it is a rainy day when you visit. Also, there is an old lighthouse at the edge of phromthep. you can go up to upstairs outside. I like to... More

Phrompthep cape or "Lam Prom Tep แหลมพรหมเทพ" is one of the unique view point at the south of Phuket island. The view of a grass hill that extends into the sea with palm trees and a sun sets into the sea can be seen in most postcards from Phuket. However, it will be very crowded before the sunset (from 5.30... More

The drive south from our house in Kathu is a challenge compounded by the idiots on motorcycles, each with an apparent death wish, and abrupt lane changes both of which are enough to infuriate the most generous of grand prix drivers. At the southern tip of Phuket and around the corner of Rawai Beach The Cape offers spectacular views and... More

Such a beautiful place, I was awed by the view of setting sun on an end less sea. I liked it so much so, that I visited the place again even on our 7 day trip to Phuket. It's the southern most tip of the island. Near by is a garden restaurant atop the hill, with the same view.. Don't... More

It was a great view. Got some great pictures. Even through there is a lot of other people. But it's a tourist place so not much of a surprise there. But it's a big area and room for everybody. There are a few stalls there where you can buy souvenirs and drinks. A lot of people bought coconut ice cream... More

...that will last forever. Clearly, a wonderful vista of the cape. And standing at a view afforded by the cliff which looks out over two other islands and the shore of one of its beach continuum, the attraction site is more than just a plain visiting spot. It's a remarkably astounding feat achieved by God for the marvel of man... More

I think views speak for themselves, they are great to see. What I found unique about this one was the elephant shrine which has a hundred or so elephants draped in flowers huddled in a circle. It seems quite mystical and gives an idea about the Thai culture and its attachment to elephants.
