This is the place to be for THE sunset. We ate icecream while watching the sun elegantly disappeared into the sea line. I don't know about the traffic...there does not seem to be a lot of public transportations to this place. We booked a car and went there, and the place was filled with tour coaches and private cars. One... More

Took a motorbike here nice ride from Patong. Parking is chargeable - 2-5B but non-one was collecting (low season). Free entry and was quiet. Nice Elephant shrine at the top with 100s of different Elephant icons from small to huge - good for photos. It was steaming hot and few vendors so take water. Views from top were very good.... More

My wife and I visited the cape at the middle of the day, around 2:45 pm. Under the blazing sun, the viewing platform was obviously lack of anything that providing cover to the visitors. However, under the sun, the sky was clear and blue, connected with endless Andaman Sea with a few small islands scattered around. The view was simply... More

If you love sunset this is the place to be. Very serene & romantic. The colour of the sea s so sparkling from the hill & as the sun sets it seems is merging with the water. An awesum place 4 photography. On top there is a open shrine too.It is stunning. We were completely mesmerised.

If you love beach and beautiful views, this place has it all. The sea colour looked so blue and sparkling from the hill point of view. Great place for photos. It is however recommended to visit early in the morning to avoid hot weather. On top of the hill, there is a small simple open shrine that filled with elephants... More

Phromthep Cape..... When all seem so enjoyable, you will be Phromthep Cape. The top part of this cape is plain having a high cliff along the edge of the sea. From this point you can look out to the sea and islands nearby. Many tourists come here particularly in the evening to see the sun setting below the horizon. Go... More

Not just a stunning vantage point for sunset photos but this is a people-watching extravaganza! We spent as much time checking out the crowd (it was pretty busy at sunset) as we did enjoying the brilliant red Thai sunset. A spectacular addition to any Phuket to-do list!

This was a nice 30-45 minute hike! We went to watch the sunset and it was very pretty. Views of a few islands off the southern coast of Phuket. Wear comfortable shoes!

Go during the daytime to see locals taking wedding pictures and fashion photoshoots happening. In the evening if there are no clouds, the sunset should be pretty nice up here. You can see the islands nearby from here. Worth a visit!
