The water here was very clear when I came. Snorkeling towards the rocky area was not bad, even at shallow waters there were many fishes. Umbrellas and mats are for rent here at 300baht. Recommended to snorkel a little bit on this island and to just take a nap while admiring how clear and clean the water is :)

We didn't know much about this island and just found out through a local tour center when we asked for a good place to do snorkeling. We weren't dissapointed by the experience and the beautiful coral riefs in this island. I'd highly recommed going to this island if you want to do some quality snorkeling. Although we didn't spend the... More

Of course being one of many tourists visiting the island for the day I was aware how busy it was but what is a real shame is that mass tourism brings with it rubbish, which doesn't need to happen! We enjoyed our day with Golden Region Travel, although speedboat was packed to the max! Pick up from hotel was fine,... More

This was our second trip to Racha. This time was with nicorn marine. They run a good operation even though you may feel a bit worried at the chalong bay marina with the throng of people waiting. The guides do a great job of keeping their group on track and really make sure you have a great day. Even making... More

Idyllic island, still not fully developed. Azure blue seas. West coast is for tourism. Traces of rubber and oil palm plantation. Mainly Muslim local community, small 2-3 star hotels, but there are big ones such as Rawiwarin. Several 7-11 stores to cater for tourists. Lots of Europeans coming for sun, sand, sea and blue skies. However, some beach are rocky... More

I joined a one-day tour to this island. On arrival, the astonishing view already took my breath away. The beach is extremely beautiful, white & soft sand, crystal blue water. A must-go destination if you are visiting Phuket!

Went there on day trip. Very easy and quick from Phuket. 30 minutes only from Chalong peer. The island is quite small but amaizing clear water and so beautiful white sand beach in Siam Bay. You can spend overnight on the island as there are few resort but a day trip is enough if you don't enough time. I will... More
