If your a butterfly freak then this is your haven. Personally the missus and i were hijacked by a cab driver when we visited old phuket town and he took us here. But to be honest it was a nice surprise, there are literally butterflies all around you, there everywhere and the missus absolutely loved it.

I was expecting a little bit more than what Phuket Butterfly Garden delivered. The variety and display of creepy insect was interesting but there was really not enough butterflies to make it feel like a butterfly garden as opposed to an ordinary garden. The building was well set up, the staff friendly and the cafe offered a nice respite from... More

The many butterflies and flowers were very beautiful but I also loved checking out all the nasty insects.

We were greeted by really friendly staff & given a special food for the butterflies. First we entered through the insect part, where we saw a range of live scorpions & very large hairy spiders! I think the butterflies were well fed, as none came down to the food we were given for them. All the same, the size &... More

A well organised and informative display of insects including bird eating spiders and scorpions. Interesting to read the back ground of the life cycle and facts on various insects. The butterfly enclosure was lovely to walk around with a little cup given at reception with mashed banana for them to eat if the opportunity presented. We all stood still in... More

We found this place is a toddler friendly (not many in Phuket). Our 2-year-old son enjoyed feeding fish, seeing butterflies and padding the cat living in the park. It's a good place to visit for a few hours.

It was an interesting place. I only wanted to get pictures of the butterflies for my g-dghter. It was a good place to visit since it was overcast and looking for something to do besides shopping and malls. I just wish my grand dghter could have been there in person, got some awesome photos tho.

Young children will love the butterflies for about 10 mins then be bored. Teenagers (typically??) were bored in 2mins. Information and displays are informative and interesting if you are into the natural world. I would have loved to spend more time enjoying the place, an excellent rainy day activity. Clean, well kept facility. Has shop with souvenirs and restaurant. We... More

Not a must visit, though if you have time, you may go. I was not very impressed with it. And the entry fees that they charge is way too high for what they show. Overall, an OK kind of experience.
