This was undoubtedly my best day in Phuket. We had booked with Laguna Tours on their '4 in 1 Phang Nga Bay Tour'. They covered all the major tourist attractions around Phang Nga Bay area - James Bond Island, Limestone Caves, Sea Gypsy village, Kayaking near the mangroves, etc. Our guide for the tour, Mr. Alex, was a really nice... The exotic limestone islands make an amazing landscape. Don't expect clear water like in the Phi Phi Islands, because there is a lot of mud and the water movement keeps the water turbid, but not dirty! A nice way to look around and explore the caves and hongs is paddling. You can take part in a day trip. A safe... More

Phang Nga Bay is one of the world’s most beautiful landscapes. We chose to tour it on the very comfortable Thai junk “Ayodhaya”. Although the ship can carry about 30 passengers, on the day of our cruise there were only a dozen. From a marina on the north end of Phuket, we cruised north among the islands of Phang Nga... More

The Phang Na trip with Siam Sea Canoe started bad and became worse. The driver arrived 25 minutes late at my friends hotel, no apology, on the contrary he blamed us for being in a hotel "so far away". His minibus had seen better days, the seats were worn away and ragged, the A/C barely worked and the minibus rattled... More

A trip you must do when in Phuket. You can take a day trip to Phang Nga bay from any of the local tour operators. We took a ferry trip and the itinerray looks something like below: 1) Pick up from hotel around 7:30 am and transfer in a coach to some pier for us to take the ferry (45... More

the james bond island tour package was probably my favorite part of my phuket trip. got to ride in a long boat e'erywhere, see and eat at a (touristy yeayea) fishing village, ride a little inflatable canoe around islands and through caves with a comedian tourguide/paddler, take awesomely cheesy photos w/ james bond island, admire the myriad of grassy island... Booked through hotel with PhangaNga Explorers. Fetched from hotel punctually (10:25) and drove across the Sarasin bridge connecting Phuket to the mainland. Along the way Mr Lim explained our itinerary for the day as well as some interesting information about Thailand. When we got to the pier we were given a lifejacket and some water. The toilets here leave a... More
