We really loved this walk, a perfect way to meet locals, learn about the history and see the town. We were well looked after all the time and every person got attention of our guide and we walked in slow pace so everyone had time to take photo, ask questions and have a great time. One of the must do when... More

Chaya was a great host. We did the sunday afternoon/night tour. It was a very full day - everthing promised on the website overview was delivered and a bit more! We were picked up at the hotel and driven around in a car to the many stops on the tour. My 12 year old son was fully engaged on what... More

Do yourself a favor by escaping the tourist trap of Patong Beach and spend a day with Chaya exploring Phuket town and enriching yourself culturally in the process. We arrived by cruise ship and Chaya met us at the pier. She immediately drove us far away from Patong Beach to explore the other side of Phuket Island, the area she... More

Today we took our family on Chaya's walking tour. Chaya is friendly and very easy to understand. Her English is excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed learning about the architecture, monastery and sampling food we may never have tried. The children were engaged and got to make cookies with a local bakery, sit with the novice monks and had fun trying to... More

Wow what a great day. Chaya is such a beautiful person we could have listened to her for days so much history and stories from someone who has grown up in Phuket Town. I learnt more about Thailand on this tour than all our previous trips combined. The food was awesome and lots of it. I am still thinking about... More

We went on a tour with Chaya just yesterday & it was incredible! She shows you Thailand the way only a local person could, back alley ways, delicious food that a tourist would never find, we even happened upon a private Buddhist ceremony that we actually witnessed first hand & were invited to enter & take part in - We... Having been to Thailand many times, I feel that with Chaya, for the first time I was given a much better understanding of Thailand and its people. Our group of 8 seniors had 2 tours with her, a full day "Meet the people" and a half day walking tour. There is so much that she can show & tell you... More

Chaya's walking tour takes you to the shining streets of Phuket Town that you probably won’t ever find on your own. Or even if you did stumble onto one, you could easily miss all the hidden gems that she so easily navigates and shares. She started our tour with breakfast in a Muslim café, and talked between tastes about the... More

Guide Chaya is passionate about her hometown of Phuket. She tells the stories and introduced us to the history and personalities that have made Phuket the wonderful place that it is. The Roti breakfast in the downtown cafe, the coffee shop that has been in the same family for 4 generations, the cafe where the Thai locals eat. These are... More
