We went on a tour with Chaya just yesterday & it was incredible! She shows you Thailand the way only a local person could, back alley ways, delicious food that a tourist would never find, we even happened upon a private Buddhist ceremony that we actually witnessed first hand & were invited to enter & take part in - We... Having been to Thailand many times, I feel that with Chaya, for the first time I was given a much better understanding of Thailand and its people. Our group of 8 seniors had 2 tours with her, a full day "Meet the people" and a half day walking tour. There is so much that she can show & tell you... More

Chaya's walking tour takes you to the shining streets of Phuket Town that you probably won’t ever find on your own. Or even if you did stumble onto one, you could easily miss all the hidden gems that she so easily navigates and shares. She started our tour with breakfast in a Muslim café, and talked between tastes about the... More

Guide Chaya is passionate about her hometown of Phuket. She tells the stories and introduced us to the history and personalities that have made Phuket the wonderful place that it is. The Roti breakfast in the downtown cafe, the coffee shop that has been in the same family for 4 generations, the cafe where the Thai locals eat. These are... More

Of all the activities we did in Phuket, this was the one I looked forward to the most and I was not disappointed. Chaya was prompt and detailed in replying to our email inquiries and we were able to book the tour only a couple of days in advance. We were greeted by Chaya with a big smile and Chinese... More

This tour was as great as all the reviews said. My husband and I went with friends and their two children (6 & 8 years old). Based on the reviews I pushed for this tour to be one of the first things we did when we arrived in Phuket, and it was the best decision. Chaya was a fabulous tour... More

Chaya is an amazing guide, but different than any other tour that goes "on your right you can observe", she takes the time to bring you to great local food spots, order local dishes, tell you their story, then walk to a different spot while talking about the story of a building, road or Thailand. She knows a lot of... More

Phuket is never the same after ”Meet the Locals” with Chaya around the real Phuket. A dive into a colourful history and traditions, the sino-colonial architecture and local flavours. We also visited buddhist nons, sea gypsies and had a great lunch in a hidden café. The Sunday tour ends up at the very local Thalang Road Night Market. A great... More
