Getting there Is far from main pattaya city and one needs to book a taxi. Bargain hard and tell the driver that you will book ticket through you. You may get taxi cheaper since these guys a cut. Bargain with the taxi to take you around the zoo walking is not possible. About the zoo The zoo is huge and... More

We visited Saturday January 2nd and boy was it busy. Our guide drove us to and from the zoo and organised the golf cart and drove it as I did not bring my driving license with me. Not every day you can say you hand fed a rhino, elephants, large cats (even if they are behind safety grids) and from... More

The park is fun to visit. I loved cruising in the golf cart. Be aware for the loads of school kids visiting (at least when i was there). Also make sure you fix your transport in advance as it's nearly impossible to find a cab back.

This zoo is worth a visit as one can take one ride in. And also it's very well maintained. The entry fee is only about 150thb which is totally worth it. There are lot if shows and I would advise to make it to these shows as it makes the trip all the more worth it. Great place for a... More

This open zoo seems to respect animals and it's a very good place for kids. You can give directly food to animals, see the animals mixt in large area, the jungle is close to the zoo, then you feel like in the original area. The kids really enjoy the contact with chips, goats, elephants and giraffe. A nice place...

Took some younger children to this exotic zoo which covers quite an extensive area and blends naturally into the contours of the land and mountains (Khao Kheow is Green Mountain in Thai). It was like a prehistoric setting, particularly the aviary which 'cages' in a massive area covering a mountainside which you can enter and walk through (bit of a... More

I really enjoyed my visit here. Make no mistake you will need to hire a golf cart or get your taxi driver/have your own car to visit the whole place. The zoo covers a massive area and walking would be a route march of epic proportions. Not expensive but as usual discriminatory pricing applies. Thai's and other Asian looking individuals... More
