We wondered why no tours from Pattaya were offered to visit the Zoo. Answer, the zoo has a very foreigner unfriendly price policy. Anyway, we decided to take a private taxi. Entrance fee is foreigner price at a special pay booth, locals pay a third from what I saw. Once in, you need a way to move around. All the... More

After reading reviews about the Open Zoo, our party (of 7) were a little apprehensive about going, and were worried about the conditions that the animals were going to be living it. We booked our trip with a local agent which cost us approx. 700bahts each. This included a private minibus and our own personal tour guide. Upon our arrival... More

A zoo that you can feed animals freely like the deer. Buy some grass and feed them. Touched and get closer selfie with the deer. Walk and sit with them. Very tamed animals. The monkeys are free too. You have to throw food to the monkeys and enjoy watching them eating. The lions and tigers are free but there's no... More

A great open zoo where you can get very close to the animals. I actually touched a Rhinoceros while hand feeding it, wow. Visit if you can, take a taxi, they will wait in the parking area for 3 hrs while you enjoy the zoo.

Had a wonderful day in the zoo. you can hire a golf buggy and it is highly recommended as the zoo is too big and it is almost impossible to walk around it. You can feed the animals. Don't miss the simply amazing tiger show. A must visit. It is 30-40kms away from Pattaya city, make sure you plan it... More

What a lovely day we had visiting the zoo. We hired a golf buggy which I would recommend you doing as it would take hours to walk round it. The zoo is kept clean. The animals are also well kept and clean. I wanted to hold the orangutan's as this is my favourite animal, but my partner couldn't make it... More

What was cool was that it was an open zoo. You could feed animals like goats, deer and elephants. They could also roam around freely. However, considering how big this place is, I felt that the cat complex could have been bigger. It was very upsetting to see the tiger pace back and forth continuously and other big cats confined... Open zoo where animals have quite acceptable conditions compared to many other zoo parks in thailand. They are continously improving with new attractions. You can rent a golf cart at reasonable price.

This is the only zoo where you will be able to actually touch and feed animals including elephants, hippo, deer, rhinos, etc. It was also great not to see (most of) them in mini cages. There were some animals like the monkeys who were locked up in cages (which were not necessarily small) but still... You can rent out a... More
