If you expect to see animals in their "natural" habitat then you are in the wrong place. You can feed and/or touch most of the animals: giraffes, bears, rhino, lion, elephants, white tiger, ... The infrastructure is quite impressive. Very nice for kids. But a lot of mass tourists. They allow cars inside.

The zoo is a great value. The setting for the zoo is amazing with a vast area and a lot of animals. You get to hand feed most of the animals and interact with them up close. We recomend the golf cart rental, it was a great way to get around and it is just plane fun.

We recently came here for a day trip from Pattaya (about 40 mins drive). It was a fun day over all and really enjoyed being able to feed the animals and get up close to them. Being an open zoo a lot of the animals are kept using natural barriers like moats but some are still behind fences etc. Unfortunately... More

Rather empty zoo except some school children. I would say it needs upgrading & more signages in English. If you walk exploring this zoo - spare 6 hours or rent a buggy. Or if you are visiting with chartered minivan - advisable to drive & park. Some zones for elephants chimpanzees orang utan tigers etc needs great walking efforts approx... More

OK for adults but kids would have blast. Don't buy more than one bag to feed the animal for 100 BHT. Don't feed the wild monkeys, as they get to be aggressive and they will chase you for your bananas. Rent the gulf cart. bring your ID with you. C U around

The zoo was amazing, we got to feed all sorts of animals and see animals up close. We fed elephants, giraffes, rhinos, monkeys (even if they weren't meant to be fed!!!) hippos, goats and Bears just to name a few! We hired a golf buggy to ride around, this is essential!! The zoo is massive and it would take hours... More

This is an open zoo with a amazingly good walk in aviary. Bird feeding is allowed and you should buy the food there and gets great photo opportunities. Some of the birds will feed from your hands. The attached tiger park is also very good. They have excellent "permanent tents " for those who want to stay overnight and listen... More

I took selfless with the orang-utan! A dream come true :D There had been some miscommunication the day prior as to when I could see him but they saw how much I wanted it and made it happen. I am forever grateful!

very big open zoo, can rent golf chart to go around, quite a lot of different animals in a nice forest setting, there is also a big children playground. Many animals can be touched or fed, great experience for kids.

A good day out, but be warned you need transport around the place as it is very up and down hill. We hired our driver to take us round as the golf buggies were very expensive to hire. This is one of the better zoos I have visited and it is better than the one in Phuket. Some of the... More
