Quieter beach than centre of Pattaya. Has everything you need close by. Both beach & sea are clean and not too crowded.

Please be warned that pick up trucks arrive along this beach in the evenings, open their music systems ,such as they are ,and blast away until the early hours ,sometimes 5/6 am. Please consider this when you are booking beach front rooms.

We spent many days here with the children. Great beach food menus with lots of choices. Stalls with inflatable. Locals seem to enjoy the bartering, but hey that's Thailand for you. Good for families

Jomtein Beach is over-crowded with dirty, dilapidated vendor umbrellas, beach chairs and food hawkers. the water is filthy, but cleaner than the neighboring Pattaya beach. The good news - it appears the military are forcing the local police to make some changes and clean up the beach and remove some of the illegal vendors.

These beach was very crowded but its is as most of the cities beaches in Pattaya I guess, but good service, close to the condo we staid in, you can get a massage, food, drinks or whatever you fancy, we felt very safe there. There is a gay part (well mainly gay) to the east side if the beach but... More

The beach is small and in keeping with the absurd European tradition of covering every square inch of sand with sun chairs and umbrellas, there's not much room to lay down a towel and relax. Most of the Pattaya area is dirty and trash-covered, but Jomtien was particularly nasty and lacked the floating ropes that delineate the swimming area from... More

Hardly any sand to stand on, because it is covered with deckchairs from the moment you step onto the beach (between chairs) until you reach the sea there are chairs, chairs chairs. The odd little gap full of couples sunbathing do exist. But this is a waste of a beautiful beach. The water is so clear it is wonderful to... More

The beach was very long with rows and rows of sunbeds and umbrellas were packed in like sardines in a can, throughout its length (100 bahts per day fee). A constant barrage of people parading by trying to sell you anything from drinks, to watches or clothing. The water quality wasnt great either. The best bit about this beach was... More
