Since the coup, the beach has undergone a strict and welcomed cleanup. The deck chairs are now strictly limited and you are free to bring your own towels and enjoy the Bay of Jomtien in peace. Beware of the jelly fish!

After taking a boat ride from Pattaya Beach you reach there. Its somehow an ordinary beach but still you find nice water sports over there. Jet-Ski, Banana Boat, Boat ride etc. A Crowded one. Like I said before ordinary! You might avoid going and waste time.!

It's an ok beach now, and slowly going the same way as pattaya, still nice but it's a bit more busy now. I avoid it now and go to less populated places. There are changing facilitys nearby with showers which is handy, parking can be a problem unless you get there early or park up one of the sois.

Well, I visited it here a long time before, Jomtien is yet an other beaches of Pattaya, I am not in favor to say it a romantic place or beach, but just an OK place to kill your time if you don't have any other plan to go that particular day, if you ask me if I would go back... More

Jomtien Beach. More than 5 km beach with sun loungers and parasols. Dirty both on the beach and in the water. Jomtien is almost as Pattaya now, before it was a quiet place where you could escape to from Pattaya, but now it is one street after another with bars and restaurant. There live many old European men there, who... More

This is one of the better beaches in the area compared with that of Pattaya beach, being popular with locals and most tourists alike. If you want to spend a few hours on the beach and a dip in the water it's perfectly adequate. If your a serious bucket and spade person then Jomtien might well be a mistake, much... More

There are some nice beaches in Thailand but this isn't one of them. Jomtien/Pattaya beach is horrible, why, because, It is a narrow beach with plastic bags, food cartons, rats and cigarette ends everywhere, the water is always grey/brown, many of the the paths are broken and uneven with holes (where the rats live). It has beach has vendors covering... More

Living here for many years, I guess I should take the family there more often. Its OK, though like any city beach, the water isn't opal blue, and palm trees don't grow along the edge of this urban sprawl version of tropical paradise. On a brighter side, it is much better and more beautiful than the nearby Pattaya Beach, and... More

We had a great time at Jomtien beach, which was a suggestion by hotel staff. It was good, nice and clean. compare to pattaya beach, it was a much better option for us and we did enjoy it. Cheers!
