Pattaya is a great place to visit and have a holiday but the beach itself is very poor. It's only a thin strip of sand and the water looked very polluted. The seating areas are cramped and crowded, we felt like cattle being herded! Make sure your hotel has a pool ! Like I said Pattaya is a great place... More

This is one of the most exciting places to visit if you are still living a bachelor's life. The entire road along the Pattaya beach is thronged with pubs, shops and what not !! Dont forget the exciting restaurants and the beautiful girls waiting to welcome you and serve you the most delicious Thai food. Do not forget a ride... More

Its peaceful on walking at pattaya beach at the time of sun set but be aware of street girls who are sometimes on the beach side and who are" pick pocketers" and "chain snatchers" and mostly in groups . They attract you and do non sense and in the mean time takeaway your valuables. Also some boys in form and... More

Very polluted water. Cramped beach with people constantly harrassing you to buy stuff. If you like water sports they have jet skis and parasailing but be careful not to get ripped off. Would avoid the beach at night unless your looking for something else.

This place is full of life. The entire beach is lines with rows of chairs available for rent for only 50 Baht (a little over a dollar US). Beach is filled with both locals and tourists. Vendors walk up and down the beach selling food and others are along the street selling food - all very cheap and delicious! There... More

We thought a day trip to Coral Island as part of our itinerary while on holiday at Pattaya would allow us to enjoy a swim near Coral Island. Instead, we were brought to specially built jetties to ride on para-sail and undersea walk at exorbitant additional charges of 500 baht and 1,200 baht respectively! Those who didn't want to ride... The beach in Pattaya is not impressive. Its like a normal beach surrounded with crooks. The water is not clear so only tanning is nice but you can also do this at the swimming pool. Kind regards,

Not very good beach, very busy, not clean and you will be constantly bothered by sellers. also many street walkers, day or night and also watch yor belongings, open beach, poor country, your valuables will get stolen. Best beaches go Jomtiem or Nakula, much quieter or a day go off shore islands.
