Not cheap by Thai standards but you do have huge beds to relax on whilst you watch the movie plus free cocktail and snacks BUT the noise from the bowling alley next door makes for an overall unpkeasant experience. Go to the first class instead .. More expensive but worth it!

The Porch is an expensive (by Thai standards) cinema within the SFX multiplex cinema at Central Festival Pattaya Beach shopping mall. It is an 'open air' cinema serving complementary popcorn, prawn crackers and a cocktail on a choice of round bed sofas or reclining beds. The price is 1,200 Baht per couple. For this premier product we had to contend... More

Nice and relaxing way to watch your favourite cinema releases. We had a round bed type couch that was strange but comfortable. The only down side was that it is a little cold inside and I could hear some one snoring, so perhaps a little to comfortable for some

First of all my experience is from 5th October 2012, (major Pattaya flood night, which was fun) Our movie session was the 8:40pm show. The movie was "stolen" The movie itself was entertaining, so does not affect my review. They told us to come half hour before the movie Started for some reason so we simply had to wait, which... A great way to watch a movie at the Porch at Central Mall Pattaya Beach. It is more little more expensive but worth the price. It has a relaxing atmosphere, where you have your choice of a lazy boy type double recliner or a bed to view the movie. There is limited seating so you feel like you have the... More

There is also a first class cinema, which is more expensive. But, it is worse. The porch is great because you get to lay on a sofa and a great view because one wall is missing.

Very comfortable and luxurious. The seating options vary from a lazy boy type recliner, a small bed type thing and a lounge type of seat. Great value for money and if you're a movie buff, you gotta try it at least once. I only went during the day, so I didn't realise they opened the beach side up at night... More
