Needs to be visited twice. Once during sun light to take beautiful photos of this impressive monument and then after sunset to enjoy it with the lights. Great creation. Would love to visit again and spend some time there.

Ok it is what you see and that's it, but to actually stand there and say you have seen it in all its glory is something else. It's a 20 minute drive out of town, but treat yourself to the experience Oh and yes you will all end up with the same photo lol......

Quite a long way out of town. Worth the journey as it is really impressive to look at! Down the road is a lovely restaurant so you can make an afternoon of it.

I visited the Buddha mountain years ago, when it was just a chalk outline out in an extremely rural area. It was amazing to go back to see the gold Buddha and all of the development that has occurred, I am excited to go back in a couple years to explore the new tourist park they are building at the... This large golden Buddha image engraved into the solid rock face of a hillside is quite a unique site and well worth a trip. Lots of amenities close by set in peaceful gardens and surrounding hills

A big Buddha on the mountain with surrounding gardens, not the greatest but if you have an afternoon where you don't know what to do, go here an spend max 1 hours.
