I visited the Buddha mountain years ago, when it was just a chalk outline out in an extremely rural area. It was amazing to go back to see the gold Buddha and all of the development that has occurred, I am excited to go back in a couple years to explore the new tourist park they are building at the... This large golden Buddha image engraved into the solid rock face of a hillside is quite a unique site and well worth a trip. Lots of amenities close by set in peaceful gardens and surrounding hills

A big Buddha on the mountain with surrounding gardens, not the greatest but if you have an afternoon where you don't know what to do, go here an spend max 1 hours.

Me and my Dad ruminated on how they'd got the gold to fasten onto the side of the mountain. We didn't find out, but there is a long chord/rope stretching from the heart chakra of the buddha to a large stone inside the areas you can walk. We were here on a Thursday afternoon and it was absolutely jam packed... More

This general area is worth a visit. While the Buddha itself looks better from a distance the general area offers some great scenic views and a few other interesting places, like the Chinese Museum and the WInery.

Impressive sculputure of Buddha inside the rocky mountain. It is located 30 minutes outside Pattaya, the best way to go there is to rent a car and spend the day in the surronding areas.
