Dont be confused by the spectacular Vihara Sien a short distance away. This is a rather odd but spectacular building which is very peaceful outside, but very confusing inside. What is it all about? You have to visit a website to get the history. If you are at Vihara Sien then it is worth a 5 minute detour, but otherwise... More
this was great! Must see while you are in the Pattaya area. I did not have a lot of time to see everything, but what I did see was great. I found it to be very peaceful.
I love this place. It is very serene and calming. Its a complete opposite to pattaya. My favorite temple is the Chinese temple. Its a museum and holy place all in one. It has amazing statues like the buried army and martial art warriors. Some amazing thai figures and paintings as well. It is beautiful.
This place is very peaceful that make me feel relaxing, release the tension and get rid of the busy thing on my head. The temple is set on the beautiful landscaped grounds beside a beautiful lake.
Whata great day trip to be walking around these grounds. The main temple is such a great place to take pictures at. Would highly recommend! Also, if you have a garmin gps, don't use it to get here. It took us on a drip road through a rice field?? :)
We visited this temple along with the Chinese Museum and were amazed by the peace and tranquility of the place. The temple was set in a beautiful backdrop of the Buddha Hill where we can see the golden Buddha carved into the hill face. A beautiful experience indeed.
There are so many building that interesting to see here. This place is near from vihara sien. There are no administration fee. So its worth to visit. You must wear polite clothes, no shorts.
We were on a shore excursion and didn't really have enough time to see all the beautiful grounds. The highlight was the Buddhist temple - no pictures inside allowed as it is a sacred sight with relic of Lord Buddha - all gold, mirrors and jewels.
Me and my daughter stoped by this place one day when we was driving around. Nice buildings and interesting area. We only did a short stop as we also visited the gold buddha mountain and the vine grape farm next to the mountain. Worth a visit. We also met some wild pigs on the back road to the WAT
