The clearest water I have seen in Thailand so far 4/5 ...... except Koh Samet. The rest of the trip not as pleasing. The boat is cheap, 30Baht one way. However, I didn't feel safe on it. There was no fuss about the importance of wearing life jackets and that bothers me. Also, people were still coming on as the... More

Too many food stalls and pollution by the beach. Noisy from the hundreds of speed boat engines, Tour group yelling, calling for their tour members. Public boat honk their horn rushing their passengers. Bad smell of waste water behind the food stalls. That was all I experience from February 8, 2015 at Tawaen Beach.

It is just a few minutes boat ride away from Pattaya.. The best and economical way to reach there is by a speed boat.. It has beautiful beaches and is a perfect place to relax and unwind.. People who love water sports should definitely visit this place.. Its worth it.. You have a variety of options like scuba diving, parasailing,... More

The ferry from pattaya direct to this beach is 30bahts and much better then the ones that brings you to naban pier. As this is the only beach that i recommends to visit (theres a total of 6 beaches in Koh Lan) its advisable to take the direct ferry to this beach. Crystal clear waters, lotsa activities and foods but... More

I had a great day at the beach here. I think it is a must and it's such a short and cheap ride using the ferry from Pattaya. I would definitely do it again.

Busy, crowded, everyone trying to sell something. The boat ride was ok, but felt a bit overcrowded. At least we got out of Pattaya for an afternoon. Don't try looking for a quiet spot, on the north end is the sewage treatment plant (?). Smelly.... Plan on an hour, max.

It is the largest beach on the island. There are many stalls and shops. from the port "Pattaya" to the island ticket costs 30 THB. taxi pickup from "Tawean" to Nuan beach costs 40 THB. Deckchairs costs 100 THB outside the center of the beach 50 THB.

The best beach in Koh Larn. The only beach I love to swim while in Pattaya. Always go to the right side which is quiet, cyrstal clear water and a proper lounger, not a sun deck. If you come early, you will get the best spot.
