First - getting there - dont buy a ticket from a spuiker buy a 30 Bath ticket at the dock its take about 45 minutes. The speed boats are around 500-600 return. Some of the beaches either side have stonefish or sea urchins that can sting if you stand on them so should only be accessed at high tide. The... More

I often visit Koh Larn every time I have a few day free especially Had Tah Wan Beach. It 's a great beach, clean and clear water with white and smooth sand. Koh Larn located not far from Bangkok, 2hrs by private car,3-5 hrs by public transportation. The furry will take you from Balihai pier start from 06.00-17.00 hrs if... More

Sea is good but the beach is very crowded. Umbrellas are very close to each other. It is worth to see but you should also see other beaches. A lot of restaurants for sea and thai food.

The clearest water I have seen in Thailand so far 4/5 ...... except Koh Samet. The rest of the trip not as pleasing. The boat is cheap, 30Baht one way. However, I didn't feel safe on it. There was no fuss about the importance of wearing life jackets and that bothers me. Also, people were still coming on as the... More

Too many food stalls and pollution by the beach. Noisy from the hundreds of speed boat engines, Tour group yelling, calling for their tour members. Public boat honk their horn rushing their passengers. Bad smell of waste water behind the food stalls. That was all I experience from February 8, 2015 at Tawaen Beach.

The ferry from pattaya direct to this beach is 30bahts and much better then the ones that brings you to naban pier. As this is the only beach that i recommends to visit (theres a total of 6 beaches in Koh Lan) its advisable to take the direct ferry to this beach. Crystal clear waters, lotsa activities and foods but... More

I had a great day at the beach here. I think it is a must and it's such a short and cheap ride using the ferry from Pattaya. I would definitely do it again.
