Totally different scenes when we walked around the Walking Street in the day time and night time. Daytime : I guess most of the people are heading to the Pier, to get the ferry to Coral Island. NIGHT time : Very happenings, crowded and with loud music everywhere.

Walking Street has a mix of small trading shops, restaurants, bars, go go bars and night clubs. The main attraction and general theme revolves around scantily clad women and or naked women. There are unofficial sex shows on offer and to no surprise the majority of tourists passing through are male. Local men are not allowed into the establishments.

Presence of various kinds of bars suggests that it is meant for adults only. Nightlife is terrific and lively people all around. I don't recommend prostitution, so people who cannot control themselves are suggested to avoid. But this is one rare kind of night life.

Visited walking street on our first night in pattaya. What an eye opener. We laughed at the sites and found it very entertaining just to look on as a bystander. I felt very safe here as their was security on the bars who searched your bags and tourist police on the street. Great music played, the drinks were reasonable. If... More

Long street full of pub club and girls. There is almost nothing for family in here. Color full and noise. Every club has music and you feel the atmosphere. Actually awesome for singles but nothing much for families who has children.

Not a place for families, good but expensive restaurants, filled with a go go bars and strip clubs.. got few good night clubs and the street gets filled with food vendors after 3am

People around the globe come to this city to enjoy the night life, which is full to entertainment. Walking street is refreshing and completely safe from touts. Police petrol through out and available on the street for any complaint.

Took a stroll down Walking Street one evening. We are definitely too old for this type of entertainment particularly the loud music bars. However the thousands of other people here seemed to be doing what makes them happy. It was worth the experience but don't think we will be up for a repeat.

Walking street houses bars, 7/11s, fast food chains, brothels, dancing clubs, everything a person could want on a Thai visit. Granted - there are some seedy places. But mostly you will be greeted by smiling Thais who (yes) want your money but offer a great time in return.
