Thailand is full of statues of Buddha and this is just another one. Located on a hill so you could see Pattaya, but let's be honest, Pattaya is not the prettiest place. Also beware of dishonest drivers ! I had agreement with a driver to take me there, wait 30 min, then take me to Sanctuary of Truth, wait there... More

Its just a nice place to be. Big golden statue for budha on the top of the hill. Kind of must see place but personally myself wasnt that impressive. Enough seeing just for tick in the box.

This one had all the elements that I usually look for: it was free, I got a good chance of hiking, the view from the place was fantastic! The place is located a little away on top of a hill and can be accessed by foot if you have a penchant of walking or hiking.

Good view of city, mystic and historical. Little bit far from the city center so you can reach here by tuk-tuk or tabi. Motorbike is also an option. Must be seen if you are in pattaya.

The big Buddha is a free attraction and is conveniently located. There is a small park and then further up the road is Big Buddha himself. It's free and definitely worth the journey to see. There are also some fantastic views of Pattaya and some good photo opportunities. Don't be like the ignorant tourists who turn up in tiny shorts.... More

An absolute must see in Pattaya. The beautiful gold Buddha centered around 12 different Buddha's. stunning views of Pattaya. Wear flats and bring water as it's steps all the way up.

It is a nice view from the mountain and the Buddha is good to visit. When you travel from Jomtien to Patthia have a stop

I regularly visit the big Buddha. Preferably early morning as it is not so crowded. You should also include a visit to the Chinese Park on the way up or down.
