Very nice calm and quiet place. Went in the evening right after sunset. Good place for self-reflection and meditation. Has many forms of Buddha. You can also get a good view of the Pattaya city and sunset at the back of the temple. Suggest going in the evening.

A big statue of the Buddha on a hill, about 10-15 minutes drive from Pattaya. Its both a tourist place and a worship place and makes for an interesting short trip from Pattaya. The view from the top is fantastic, might make sense to visit in the evening to get both the day view and the lights after dusk.

i get the feeling every new 1st time Pattaya visitor who falls in love takes his new found love to this place and she has to pretend she's never been before, but seriously its a great picture opportunity with a small religious element. As you would expect coaches and coaches of visitors make pictures difficult without a stranger appearing in... More

This is a wonderful place and reliving moment for those who are believer and non-believer of Buddhism. This place hosts lot of big idols of various poses of Lord Budha (his postures on various week days).

we walked up from the bottom, well further away than that really soi 15 Thrappayya, it wasnt too bad even in the heat of the day, worth it at the top, nice gardens and temples that probably most miss if they drive up, sweet views and cool breeze at the top as well as the impressive Bhudda

Buddha mountain maintains its cultural values but at the same time provides some stunning views of Pattaya City. Buddha mountain is not a money making temple but any amount of donations are welcome. It is a very well maintained facility. One advice for foreigners, please do treat the any and every temple with respect. There are certain cultural aspects that... More
