The big Buddha and the steps were magnificent. Definitely worth seeing. However, there's nothing else to see otherwise.... (The lookout and a little temple is 5 minutes drive away, but not very exciting either).

I visited this buddha temple this month 25th. With family and friends family.for me it is second time.worth seeing this great buddha and to take prayer there.from central pattaya just 12 kms.6 pm closing time.

Make sure women wear clothes with covered shoulders. It's great to see in the morning as the light is better for photos.

Although it is going through extensive renovations/upgrades this is a must see for all tourists. The views from the top are spectacular and you can learn some history about Buddhism and the Buddha statue itself. We were able to get a blessing from a monk who was praying at the temple and for a small donation we got the traditional... More

i found it similar to others in bangkok , nothing too extraordinary , also if weather is hot its not good to go , can be avaoided if u r not crazy for buddha statues

Huge Sleeping Buddha... You need to wear full dress to visit the temples in Thailand... As Thailand is a hot place try visiting as early as possible...

Don't book this with a tour... It's Free and amazing! Just grab a taxi and go there yourself! Then just walk down the hill and get a taxi up to the Sea port viewing point!

Big Buddha temple is beautiful! Not only Buddha statues but also a great view on Pattaya :). The entrance is free of charge.

Nice view of Pattaya. Nice and quiet place to relax and to visit. you can walk or run around the place (parcours sportif)
