Definitely worth a visit when hanging around in Pattaya. There is a big buddha statue as the name implies, but also various other statues and temples on the same hill. Some of it may look a bit kitsch to western tourists, but entrance is free and you can roam around and visit for as long or short as you like.... More

This is a nice place to spend an hour or so in the afternoon or early evening. The place is quite large and serene, and you have to take a lot of steps before reaching the Big Buddha statue. Other Buddha statues can be admired as well. However, if you want a better view of Pattaya Bay, you have to... More

One of the highlights in Pattaya. Nice place to walk around and good views of the water and city. Worth walking there, rather than taking a mini-bus. You see other parts of the city and the area around the hill. Allow at least 30 minutes to enjoy the place.

This temple is well worth a visit when you're in Pattaya. It's a peaceful place away from the noise and hustle of the city. The temple grounds are quite large so you can easily spend an hour or more here. There are many impressive statues, the largest being the big Buddha statue at the top. While at the top there... More

Very memorable and beautiful place of worship. The big buddha statue is breathtaking and once you are on the top of the hill there is magnificent view of Pattaya and Jomtien.
