Being a place of worship you will not find fun and excitement but you will get a few moments to stop and reflect while getting some great views of Pattaya. A warning a picture will be tacken of you while you pose for your own picture at the bottom of the stairs and they will try to sell you a... More

It is not far from town so I walked to it. There is a small garden area surrounding it and there is a temple nearby. The view from the bottom of the staircase looking up is best. Also nearby are snack places and toilets and it is kept pretty much rubbish free. Worth a visit.

Yes, go there and see some Thai culture. The place is actually called Khao Phra Bat temple. The Big Buddha once had superior views over Pattaya and Jontiem but the skyline's now dominated by huge skyscraper type condo blocks.

There may be bigger Buddhas and temples but this one is pleasant and not o commercially orientated. The surrounding area is free from rubbish and there are great views of Pattaya. A peaceful place for contemplation and elaxing
