We took a free shuttle provided by our hotel to the area. The area was one of the most touristy towns in all of SE Asia and the food seemed to cater to the Western palate, but we still enjoyed seeing the various shops, restaurants and spas. It was a partly cloudy day and the beach seemed average...not really worth... More

Without a doubt the best stretch of beach on Samui. Not to many vendors, calm and relaxed feel. Clear blue water and white sand. Not to many water sport rental and no jet skis bothering us swimmers. Great beach for young children. The sun beds where owned by the many resorts along the beach, but no problem if you want to... More

We stayed at a resort right along the beach for our Honeymoon earlier in the year and it was amazing there were beautiful little restaurants along sections and vibrant night spots not to far away so it was perfect for pretty much any time of the day wether it be relaxing in the morning, taking some of the jet skis... Koh Samui is a beautiful island , Chaweng beach is more hectic and a little dirtier than the other beaches around Samui due to the fact that most tourists stay here. Plenty to do in Chaweng but if you prefer it a little quieter and better beaches head elsewhere. We have been here 4 times and plan to head back... More

Such a great, fun and loud place but couldn't stay at a hotel there. Nice place to walk around and eat food there but not good for the rest....

Chaweng Noi Beach is a beautiful beach with a different sand composition from Lamai. It is the ultimate party beach for the young! Lots of music, cheap drinks and a partying atmosphere!

This was an impressive beach.......... Big sweeping bay with smaller islands just off the coast, white soft sand with warm clear water.. You can hire jetski's but there not in your face, theres plenty of beach for a quiet day of just chillin out... Our regret was that we didn't stay at one of the hotels On this beach instead... More

We arrived there to wait for the opening of a diveshop nearby, and eventually stayed a couple of hours with our 2 teenagers. We ordered a few drinks to benefit from chairs and umbrella, and toilets, of the Paradise hotel. Beach is indeed quiet and peacefull, water clean and warm, not suitable for swimming since deep is about half a... More
