I have seen some of the poor reviews and not sure what people expect for 200 baht!. Large area all netted off with paths up and down the hillside with streams and waterfall, lovely range of butterflies and we could have stayed all day

We hired a car to drive around Samui for the day and saw the sign pointing off the main road to the Butterfly Garden. We thought, 'sounds nice, let's divert'. Paid 200 B for entry and saw on a board at the entrance a complex map showing where the waterfall was and the bee house too. Once in, we saw... More

This was recommend by our driver who was external to the hotel we were staying it. We were charged 300 bahts each on entering. What a complete rip off. What a run down kip of a place. Avoid..... Avoid.... Avoid.....

This must of been a good attraction sometime ago but you can probably see more butterflies outside than in this garden

Cheap entry if staying at the villas so worth a visit. Nice and spacious and lots of colourful butterflies.

As many other reviewers have said, this place does seem rather run-down. However, we did see a few different species of butterflies. We didn't check out the bees as we weren't interested in them. We came for the butterflies. There were several empty cages in the fairly run-down area which was presumably the insect area, but we did see a... More

Do NOT go there!!! I repeat, in case you missed it: do NOT go there!! This place feels like it's been abandoned for years. They claim they have bees, bugs and butterflies. Well; all they have is a small and sparse squadron of butterflies. We've seen 3 or 4 different species only. No bees, nothing else. The butterflies themselves try... More

Its worth a walk around, we stayed just across the road so it wasnt too bad just to walk across and go round it. I probably would of been disappointed if we had got a bus or taxi to it right enough but i did enjoy it, great for photographs and good to see
