The Buddha is placed on a small island. You have to go across the jetty to reach it. The Buddha statue itself is placed at the top of a flight of stairs (steep when you're coming down). Worth the trip, nice views and good little market in the area. There is also an excellent place right on the left to get a coffee or a shake. Very refreshing on a hot day. This is a short stop but its not far from Bo Phut wich is worth seeing especially at dinner time. Lots of good places to... more
