Why I chose Angthong National Marine Park was I heard it was where the film 'The Beach' shot. There were lots of people there in the early August. We took a boat there and snorkeling for like one hour. It was quite pretty but kinda crowded there. After snorkeling, we went climbing all the way up to see a beautiful... More

We went there with one of the local speedboat companies. Not too bad, try to be a bit careful on the days you travel. If it's a windy day like what we had, it's very rough out at sea and is a bit of a roller coaster getting to all the stops. Bring a towel and would suggest enclosed shoes... More

I would definitely recommend this park. The 42 islands form a beautiful archipelago teeming with coral fish, soft, white sandy beaches. However, your experience of it might vary according to the outfitter that you choose. Make sure you read reviews on this site before you go. You might end up in a boat with 130 other people, no good snorkelling... More

We organised this trip via destination Asia on a speed boat with approx 30 people on board. The boat was lovely, we did snorkelling and kayaking and had lunch at a restaurant which was really good. The park is amazing so highly recommend it as a trip. Be careful who you organise with as have heard negative stories from other... More

Having read other reviews which complain about the kayaking island being so crowded, I realise we were lucky because there weren't many people when we went here. The tour operator said they'd planned the trip to avoid the crowds. We didn't actually kayak although it looked as if it would be fun kayaking around the rocks and relatively easy as... More

We chose this tour (Angthong Sea Tour - Number 7), and there are many variations of the same type of tour, because it had a bit of everything for the 4 of us. On the brochure it says Sight Seeing, Kayaking and Snorkelling..... and that covered all bases for the 4 of us. The day started off on the "slow... More

Whilst the Park itself boasts some lovely islands the trip to the park was the worst we have been on in 23 visits to Thailand. The kayaking trip was a joke with far too many boats on the water at any given time, so that getting into the cave was impossible which meant we missed out on the one thing... More

There is nothing there not to like once you get there which is far. But the trip worth's. From the top of the islands ocean and hall marine park's view is just amazing. Kayaking between and under the rock formations is exiting. And when you see those butterflies just turning around you, you will fall in love.

This marine park has breath taking views, amazing beaches and is worth the speed boat trip. There is a full day tour which takes you to a number of different stops, including snorkelling. It was some of the best snorkelling i have ever experienced. The lunch provided on tour was great and there are many opportunities to purchase ice cream,... More

The park itself is amazing. However I fear it will be destroyed by the small petrol driven boats that ferry everyone about. The marine life was disappointing when we visited and I'm not sure if this is how it normally is.
