One the must do trips when visiting Koh Samui! I would highly recommend renting a private boat for this trip and seeing Koh Wao for snorkeling and the Emerald lake viewpoint. Best place for lunch - Koh Paluay seafood restaurant! Amazing!

We organised a group trip to the park with Samui Boat Charters and it was great. A private speedboat took us to the islands, which were beautiful. The snorkelling was pretty decent, with lots of coral and fish, including a few reef sharks. The rest of the tour was lovely, including a fantastic lunch in a locally owned restaurant. Only... More

Angthong is definitely a must visit if in the Gulf of Thailand - nothing less! We were four friends who visited the marine park during our holiday in Thailand in July 2013. We were joined by another couple on our trip, and came in from Koh Samui by speed boat. The fact that we were only 6 persons + a... More

It's an exceptionally beautiful place and it certainly worth a visit but we were disappointed with the organization. The trip on the boat is pleasant even if it takes nearly 2 hours to get there. But then everything goes at such a pace that you have no time to stop and appreciate the moment. For instance kayaking part is very... More

This place is a little piece of heaven on earth! It is so beautiful here, no words. Really a MUST DO if you are in Ko Samui. Emerald lake is so pretty, and is well worth the climb up! Don't be fooled by the estimated time up, it only takes 5 minutes. The view at the top is AMAZING. Do... More

Spent a whole day out on a speed boat make sure it's a big one can get a bit rough and our day was fairly calm . Snorkelling much the same as other island and a lot off boats coming and going . Nice to see the park and how the locals live so far out on some islands and... More

One of the best days I have had on my travels! Such a lovely day and beautiful place! Enjoyed the snorkelling and kayaking but was lovely to see the different islands and relax on the beaches/ take a dip in the sea. Lunch was provided on our tour aswell- yummy Thai food! It was worth the money we payed- thought... More

We went with Koh Samui Tours and could not fault them. They were very organised and friendly. The normal boat ride (ie not the speed boat) across from Koh Samui is approx 1hr and 40 minutes. There is plenty of seating on the boat. There is a sun deck which has comfy mats to use. Breakfast on board is a... More

The park itself is okay, but nothing to rave about. The snorkelling was really average, with poor visibility and boats coming and going all of the time. My son was nearly hit by one. The trip out was in 3-4 feet swell and after 60 minutes of this the day was a right off!The children all vomited but did enjoy... More

We did a yacht tour and it is beautiful but if you ave been to other Thailand islands there's nothing new here. Snorkeling was the same as other places around the islands. Don't be fooled into thinking because it's in a marine park there will be more and better fish. The ocean rarely has magical spots. If you want an... More
