Please be aware that there are two staff members (a young man and a woman with a bobbed hair cut) at the Family Mart in Bophut operating a postage stamp scam. When you buy a postcard there they ask you if you want a postage stamp. We said we wanted one to send international, and they showed us a folder... More

Go here any day for a great selection of bars and restaurants at reasonable prices. Fridays are brilliant as you have the market along the street selling crap goods and great food and drinks. Great atmosphere. More

Friday night market is great - eat as you walk and shop. Try all the different foods on offer. Cocktails are ridiculously and unbelievably cheap - walk and drink, and buy more drinks. Shop as you eat, drink and browse the shops. Great evening out. Sit on the beach for a break and view the lights then continue all of... More

Slightly Laid back yet great atmosphere, many bars, many restaurants, many knick knack stores and a lovely beachfront. Thats what the Fisherman village is about. You can shop, eat and keep restaurant and bar hopping! Its a fun evening here. Not as chaotic as chaweng but not very slow either. If you are spending 3 nights, consider spending one evening... More

We chanced upon a restaurant (forgot name) in the village and they served the best lobster spaghetti in the world! My partner had the most wonderful barracuda steak. The location is quiet and next to the beach (we went during lunch). I would imagine dinner to be noisier. But the food served is way too good. More

We arrived in the Village not realizing parking was so difficult until we were on the road out and took the last chance to park in an empty block for a couple of $'s. So we missed the very beginning of the village but enjoyed the late afternoon's stroll past eateries and stalls and enjoyed a cider watching the last... More

We visited Bophut's twice on Friday nights during our stay in Koh Samui after being recommended to by our hotel staff. The Friday night market has plenty of food stalls, cheap drink/cocktails and plenty of other knick-knacks. We found a little outside bar at the end of the market strip which had cushions set out on the beach and watched... More

We really enjoyed walking the streets, eating in restaurants and lazing the night away. On Friday nights you will find inexpensive drinks and lots of knick-knacks at the market stalls. Enjoy! More

The highlight in Bohput for us was the Friday night market. Cheap cocktails and great street food. It can get crowded later into the evening. More

Visited Bophut based on previous reviews on trip advisor. We visited on three separate evenings during our two week stay in Koh Samui. Friday is the best night with its night market, lots of street food stalls, cheap cocktail stalls and overall a great but relaxed vibe. We ate at Kama Sutra which was good but fairly expensive compared to... More
