Not only was our trip here awful beyond words, it was also a huge waste of our precious holiday time. Our ''30 minute'' elephant ride was in reality just 15 and either side of this was hours of waiting. Absolute rubbish. Our poor elephant was stabbed in the head with a pickaxe just for disobeying the commands of his 'master'... More

I echo the other comments that this place must be shut down: I was absolutely horrified seeing the abuse that the elephants were subjected to during their "show". All the trainers wanted to do was line their pockets with cash by taking money from people to climb on the elephants (this is after paying the significant entry fee), and if... More

I came here with my partner who was keen to see elephants. Having been to Thailand lots of times I kinda knew what I was getting into but it was still distressing... As someone else commented, the place is dirty, with the trek just following a very worn out path between trees. On the trek, our guide tried to sell... More

I came here as part of a Jeep tour but declined the elephant trekking when booking. This place is dirty and run down and made me so sad. I had a wander round and saw some beautiful elephants in tiny pens with their legs in tiny chains, after this I waited by the entrance until the rest of my tour... More

I just got back from Ko Samui to the U.S. and I haven't been able to stop thinking about the the horrific treatment of the animals I saw at the Safari Park. I started investigating ways to report this, so I started reading reviews on Trip Advisor. I was so happy to see that almost everyone felt sick about these... More

My husband and I discovered this place en route to Namuang Waterfalls having hired a car to see the island of Koh Samui. We drove towards the waterfall and found the safari park was about a kilometre prior to the waterfall and had no option to drive any further, so we parked up. Initially, we were caught up seeing the... More

the tigers and leopards here are clearly sedated. when I came the tiger we were told was not available for pictures, not that anyone took a picture as we all felt to sad for these animals. the waterfalls itself well they are waterfalls to be honest, if you are going to make the climb to the top ensure you wear... I was on a scheduled tour to Namuang Safari Park, the two waterfalls, elephant ride and 4 wheeling in the mountains. Only saw the one waterfall since the stairs to the big waterfall was too steep. Nobodys fault! The tour was alright but I definitely hated the animal shows in Namuang! They were boring and also I believe it is... More
