NOT the jungle tour promised

Although we did ride on an elephant, that was probably the only thing about this tour that we found even close to the truth of what was promised. And I am not at all sure these... read more

We booked the 45 minute elephant trek with a framed photo and trip to Waterfall 2. This was excellent. Our driver from hotel stopped on the drive there at a beautiful location looking over Lamai Beach from the mountain. The elephant trek was great and our guide even stopped part way through and allowed my husband and I to take... More

There were numerous fish in the aquarium, most of which we could not recognize. It would make our whole trip more informative if the acquarium introduce the fish by category or put some descriptions next to the tanks. However, we did have a good time watching those beautiful, cute or peculiar fish.

Absolutely not the enjoyable experience I thought it was going to be. I love elephants and thought this might be a nice sanctuary for them as it's set in the 'jungle' as described in all the marketing material. It was around $800 baht for half an hour and $1200 baht for an hour although I shopped around and managed to... More

We visited this park on a tour that included the grandfather& grandmother rock. After that,we did the elephant riding, it took about 25 minutes. Two people are sitting in a kind of gondola on the elephant, the mahout in front. The mahout carried a kind of ice pick and we saw one bleeding elephant. In this park, the animals are... More

Its up to you as to how you enjoy this park. Having been here several times it is an interesting enough place. A hefty walk up to the waterfall where you can bath in several pools, this is provided there is water, this latest trip saw most waterfalls on the island running pretty dry. The elephants are great to see... More

Don't expect wonders from the waterfalls in the dry season but it is a beautiful setting. Riding on elephants is worthwhile but don't bother paying for 'proper' photos as they take photos on your camera / phones for you and the tip is cheaper!

Although we did ride on an elephant, that was probably the only thing about this tour that we found even close to the truth of what was promised. And I am not at all sure these animals are being treated the way they should. The Mahout carry a device that I can only describe as an ice pick used by... More

We only had the elephant trek as part of a half day tour, so can't comment on the other attractions. The elephants seem happy and very well looked after, just be aware that the mahout will charge you for all of the photos he offers to take. Stand firm and don't pay too much, he even tried to charge us... More

We scootered here by accident and it was worth our while. For 1400 baht we watched 5 shows (bathing elephant, elephant tricks, monkey show, crocodile show - these guys were phenomenal, and thai cooking) - (husband got a bare backed elephant ride from the bathing), cooked lunch, waterfall visit in back of truck then an elephant ride with photo. Totally... More
