i advise not to go on the elephant trekking, i think they use pregnant elephants to work. then the guide who is controlling the elephant will coax you to pay him some money so that he can take a picture of you with the elephant saying that the elephant is pregnant and he needs the money to feed her. yeah... As we were in Koh Samui with a 7 yo kid, we decided to spend a day on some kid friendly activities. The half day safari at Namuang Safari Park seemed a good option, though I had read mixed reviews about Namuang. We had the customary elephant trek ( around a demarcated dirt track). The elephants seemed healthy enough... This... More

The hike to the waterfall is definitely a must do, it's not very challenging but shoes or trainers are recommended over flip-flops. Take the 4x4 to the base of the trail, trust me, the roof top ride is worth 100 Baht per person. Careful of your belongings, a friend lost over 400 dollars which was accidentally forgotten in a backpack.... More

A nice day out with the family was spoiled by an elephant ride with a very aggressive handler who was so intent on us giving him more money that when we refused he was unhelpful, aggressive and stopped the elephant on our safari. He told us he would not finish the safari and cut our ride short if we didn't... More

Forget the Safari Park! There is an awesome waterfall hike. They will try to talk you into riding a 4-wheel drive, but you can easily hike up. Once you get to the place where the 4-Wheel Drive Vehicles are parking, don't get suckered into paying to enter the "botanical Garden" to get to the waterfall. The best adventure is to... More

We had terrible elefant trekking ever!! Bought chippest ticket (22$) for 30 min. But it last about 15 min. We were on two elefants. When I asked elefant driver to come closer to my family on second elefant - he start to shout on me! They are specifically prevented us from taking pictures of each other - because they wanted,... Try this out, great stuff! Must try the 4x4 offroad drive, costs only 100 baht / person but what an experience.

Do not go here. So far the worst experience in Ko Samui. Sure go to support the animals that are their if you choose. But when you go you'll feel that the place is run down and that the animals are under fed. We got a photo with a baby tiger cub and the poor thing was so hungry he... More

I bought my son a 30-minute ride on the elephants, which lasted not the whole 10 minutes. It did not make the impression on them because it's not supposed to ride on minute only on laps. It is worth it to draw attention to buy tickets, because for me it's not fair. I tried to talk to them, but they... More

Think the roof top 4x4 ride was exciting. The elephant ride was fun too. The rest of the tour was quite normal actually. Try once is enough.
