A family run cooking class established in 2001. We began with a maximum class size of 8 people. Even though our business has seen tremendous growth, we have decided that this small class size maintains the personalization and individual attention that each student deserves. Yui (Siripen Sriyabhaya), Thailand's international TV chef still teaches every dish in every class to guarantee the highest quality of instruction. Her expertise attracts a variety of students such as, TV chefs, executive chefs, culinary school teachers, international Thai cooking instructors, food columnists, cookbook authors, tourists, and food lovers.Yui's unique blend of art and science truly make cooking exciting, fun, and easy to follow. When students cook these delicious dishes in class, they are equipped with the skills and knowledge to be able to recreate these dishes at home.

We enjoyed our half day of cooking with Yui who was a very skilled and informative chef. We cooked three meals, after watching Yui demonstrate first, and then got to eat them straight after. We were part of a group of 9, and all had our own individual cooking space, utensils and ingredients. We also visited a local market, which... More

another highlight of the trip for me was taking a half day cooking class with chef yui. the half day class includes three dishes and a tour of the local market (full day is 5 dishes + local market tour — wish we had that kind of time!). this is the perfect way to bring a piece of thailand home... Can't say enough good things. Yui is a wonderful teacher and fabulous chef. When you go, go hungry because you will want a full appetite for all the delicious dishes (6 courses) you get to learn and prepare. We left not only feeling more capable of preparing Thai food ourselves but also better equipped to know what to look for... More

First off, Yui is hilarious. She had us laughing with her stories all the time. The foods that you cook are wide-ranging and all delicious and the best part is Yui's instruction on how to appropriately substitute Thai ingredients for Western. There are unfortunately some things that you just can't get in Europe or North America that need some kind... More

Had the best time and learned a bunch! We looked at so many other cooking schools and I'm so glad we chose this one. Yui is an authentic, genuine person and a very knowledgeable chef! We learned many of her personal insights and tricks to cooking delicious Thai food, and made some of the best food we ate during our... More

I very very liked it! Yui is an excellent chef and she has a lot of amazing tips to share which is great because not so many chefs like doing that. The reason why I decided for this cooking course was for the simple fact that Yui likes to keep it simple and enjoy life, because she could be a... More

Just Love Yui !!!!!!!!!! A brilliant thai chef ( world renowned, I might add. Gordon Ramsey filmed a segment with her), she guided us thru 5 delicious Thai dishes and took us on a very informative trip to the local market. She is extremely knowledgeable, funny, patient and warm. Cooking with her was an absolute treat. Do not miss an... More

My day at 'A Lot of Thai' Chiang Mai began with a present from my son on Christmas day 2014. A gift certificate of a full days Thai cooking with Yui. I have been working in Chiang Mai for two months and via an email I booked my gift day. I was collected from Thapae Square and taken to a... More
