Even though our business has seen tremendous growth, we have decided that this small class size maintains the personalization and individual attention that each student deserves. Yui (Siripen Sriyabhaya), Thailand's international TV chef still teaches every dish in every class to guarantee the highest quality of instruction. Her expertise attracts a variety of students such as, TV chefs, executive chefs, culinary school teachers, international Thai cooking instructors, food columnists, cookbook authors, tourists, and food lovers.Yui's unique blend of art and science truly make cooking exciting, fun, and easy to follow. When students cook these delicious dishes in class, they are equipped with the skills and knowledge to be able to recreate these dishes at home. « less

I signed up just to leave this review, which is saying a lot cos I don't normally bother. I did a full-day cooking course with my partner in April. If you're like me, I'm always slightly wary that I might get watered-down versions of local food when I sign up for cooking courses, but there wasn't a moment in this... More

As a fan of Thai food, taking a cooking course in chiang Mai is a must! Luckily I chose Yui's class. She taught us with details which is especially important for newer like me. I managed to cook 3 dishes by myself and I enjoyed my work in kitchen for first time. :) It is also fun to meet with people... More

Such a fun way to spend a day in lovely Chiang Mai! I learned all sorts of little secrets, loved Yui, got to meet cool new people, and enjoyed DELICIOUS food made by me! Yui's husband even drove me to the airport after. These are great people and Yui is an awesome chef. I will definitely be back. Strongest possible... More

The alotofthai cooking class is just amazing. Yui learns you all about the different ingredients (all of excellent quality). The location is lovely. We had the most incredible time learning how to cook a variety of Thai dishes. The food we cookes was delicious.

Yui welcomed us into her family home and spent the day cooking, laughing and eating with us. This is not just a cooking class, Yui explains the small details and tricks that you can't read in a cookbook or see in a restaurant. Yui is charismatic and funny and immerses you in each step of the dishes you create throughout... More

I worked in the restaurant business for over 20 years. I have worked with several world class chefs. Today, for the second time in as many weeks, I have worked with another- Yui. The class is a cooking class. However, It is much more than just a "paint by numbers" cooking class. Yui shared several tidbits which I had never... More

Right from making the initial booking, this was professional, fun and a non-commercialised experience. Yui is a passionate expert, lots of fun but at the same time ensures all aspects of food safety & hygiene are followed. The trip to the market was an eye opener. The dishes we prepared (and ate!) were delicious, simple and authentically Thai. A perfect... More

We had a great day at the cooking class with Yui. They collected us from our hotel in a nice vehicle and returned us afterwards. We learned six dishes, including pad thai, green curry, and sticky rice, all were really easy and tasted great. A lot of the work is done for you by kitchen assistants, making it really easy... More

We decided to book this course after reading so many favorable comments about Yui and Kwan and their cookery school. It was wise to book well in advance as the class fills up quickly and there is a maximum of 10 although the day we attended there were 12! Yui picked us up in her van and transported us to... More

The whole day was brilliant! Yui was full of life, she cares so much about the food she is cooking! We cooked several dishes through the day, but they were spaced out just enough for you to be able to eat them all! This really was the highlight of my holiday, if you are going to do a cookery course... More
