Even though our business has seen tremendous growth, we have decided that this small class size maintains the personalization and individual attention that each student deserves. Yui (Siripen Sriyabhaya), Thailand's international TV chef still teaches every dish in every class to guarantee the highest quality of instruction. Her expertise attracts a variety of students such as, TV chefs, executive chefs, culinary school teachers, international Thai cooking instructors, food columnists, cookbook authors, tourists, and food lovers.Yui's unique blend of art and science truly make cooking exciting, fun, and easy to follow. When students cook these delicious dishes in class, they are equipped with the skills and knowledge to be able to recreate these dishes at home. « less

We participated to the half-day cooking course with our three kids and enjoyed it. While our eldest son (11) had his own cooking station, our younger ones (8 and 5) shared one with my husband and me. The course was well organised and ran smoothly. We also liked the market tour really much. While explaining and demonstrating the cooking, Yui... More

I finally decided to go for a cooking class in Chiang Mai and by choosing to attend Yui's class was totally a fantastic experience. Her passion had shown clearly the reason of how she became a great chef like this. I love cooking but rarely cook at the moment. She reminded me how fun could it be in the kitchen.... More

We had a very enjoyable day cooking with Yui. She is a great teacher and is so enthusiastic and knowlegable. She demonstrated everything first, and shared great little anecdotes so it was always entertaining. We then followed her instruction and cooked each dish ourselves, all of which tasted delicious! You get a great cookery book to take home with you... More

My friend and I did the half-day cookery course at A Lot of Thai and we both absolutely loved it!! The day was very well organised and ran very smoothly, we were picked up from our hotel in the morning, made three delicious dishes, were given a tour of a local food market and then driven back to our hotel... Yui's hunger for life seems matched only by her hunger for food - and luckily for us, she is knowledgeable and curious about both! She passes on all her tips, tricks, and information about Thai cuisine and culture during this class. At home, I am lucky to make a bowl of cereal, but under Yui's tutelage, I managed to prepare... On august 20th we took a full day cooking class with yui. We booked 3 months in advanced based in the reviews here. The experience was better than we imagine. Sorry for leaving a review so late, Yui! Better late than never though :) I was in Chiang Mai in June and was told by everyone that I needed to take a cooking course. Obviously, being a lover of Thai food, I jumped on it! I was traveling solo so I was able to reserve a spot the night before... More

We enjoyed our half-day at A Lot of Thai. Yui is a great host, great fun and a great cook and teacher. Picked up from our hotel in the morning... Went to Yui's home... Enjoyed great lessons and great food, learned plenty about ingredients and methods and Thai culture...Then off to the local food market for a tour. Would highly... More

We weren't sure what to expect when the day started, but were quickly drawn in by Yui's infectious passion about food, cooking, teaching, and Thai culture. Not only did we learn to cook a wide variety of dishes but we learned history and culture through Yui's stories and family history. The food we cooked was incredible and we even received... More

We went as a family of 3 yesterday to Yui's cookery course. We loved it because it was in Yui's actual house and not some pretentious hotel and it was exceptionally clean. Loved everything we cooked and ate, and found Yui very knowledgeable and approachable. I really enjoyed the market tour to see life 'Thai' style. We can't wait to... More
