Even though our business has seen tremendous growth, we have decided that this small class size maintains the personalization and individual attention that each student deserves. Yui (Siripen Sriyabhaya), Thailand's international TV chef still teaches every dish in every class to guarantee the highest quality of instruction. Her expertise attracts a variety of students such as, TV chefs, executive chefs, culinary school teachers, international Thai cooking instructors, food columnists, cookbook authors, tourists, and food lovers.Yui's unique blend of art and science truly make cooking exciting, fun, and easy to follow. When students cook these delicious dishes in class, they are equipped with the skills and knowledge to be able to recreate these dishes at home. « less

my cooking class at A lot of Thai is fantastic. Yui is extremely energetic and is full of tips and tricks to help you along. She really shows how easy and quick thai food is to make. I went only own, as my gf isn't interested in cooking, but I am sure she would have loved it. At the end... More

Our family of 6 ranging in age from 74 to 10 thoroughly enjoyed this wonderful day from pickup, market visit and actually cooking and eating. All of us were captivated and intrigued by Yui and her silent helpers!

We visited Yui and her husband 3 years ago with our 2 children . Once again we visited today and had a fantastic time . Our children are now aged 12 & 10 and handled the cooking areas perfectly as the course is very relaxed and friendly. We did the full day tour and I would reccomend this to others.... More

This is one of the most best things we have done in Thailand. Yui is an amazing teacher and her passion for food spilt over to all of us in the class. The way she broke down the ingredients and cooking methods helped to simplify the cooking technique and solidify what we had learned. I thought I was good at... More

We've been back for several months and keep talking about our day at "A lot of Thai". We loved seeing the market and learning how to pick out the ingredients they use, which we've used since returning. Who would have thought sugar was creamy! The dishes we prepared were delicious, and we learned a lot of little tips that have... More

Yui's passion for food and cooking is fabulous, and quite contagious :) Her cooking school is simple and authentic - located in the former orchid-garden of her in-laws' house. She is eager to share not only her recipes, but a fundamental understanding for Thai cooking - the why's and the how's. Also, the market tour is really great! You will... More

This was without a doubt one of our favorite things we have done in the last two weeks in SE Asia. Yui is a great teacher and helps you understand what you are doing and why you are doing it in your cooking. Thank you Yui!

I would highly recommend taking this class. Yui makes it very easy and fun to learn all about the fundamentals of how, why and what you are cooking in a very relaxed atmosphere. The food was as fresh and top quality as you can get, which as most people know is the fist step to an amazing meal. After having... More

Yui is an excellent teacher. I learned so much about techniques and ingredients after just spending one day with her. The class is very laid back and Yui can customize the menu to special food needs or allergies. She's especially good at knowing what substitutions are available in other countries since she's so well travelled. I didn't think it was... More
