A fantastic day spent with our guide, Sai, and lots of wonderful elephants. It was a privilege to be able to feed, wash, touch and watch these beautiful creatures. The lunch was plentiful and delicious, and it is clear that those involved with the nature park are passionate about what they do. A must do for anyone visiting Chiang Mai.

I just loved this place - it affected me so much - I won't ever ride another elephant again! The stories were sad but it really opened my eyes and showed me you don't need to ride and elephant to interact with it - we bathed them in the river, fed them multiple times, and had lots of time to... We booked this trip as we saw the reviews the day starts with being picked up locally at our hotel and entering an air conditioned mini bus, we then pick up only a few more people before we go off to the Elephant nature park as soon as we got there I was so excited I could see the elephants... Choose this park over anything else. They are doing amazing things and it's really a special and comprehensive experience in a country that has such beauty but treats animals poorly. You learn so much. We had a large group, including small kids, and they accommodated us well. We all had a blast!

Let me start by saying what they are doing for the elephants is great and is very worthwhile cause that people should continue to support. My partner and I decided to do the overnight stay to make the most of our time at the park. We arrived at the park around 10:30am where we fed the elephants for around 10... More

The park was recommended to us by a past volunteer, who told us about the reality of riding elephants and generally opened our eyes to the injustice that these creatures are subjected to, fueled by the tourism industry and allowed to continue unchecked. Please be realistic about your expectations. The money you pay for your trip goes towards the preservation... More

If you visit this park you will not ride on an elephant nor will you watch them do tricks. This is a place for rescued elephants and your job will be to help feed them (we did it in the morning and late afternoon) and give them a bath in a very shallow river that runs through the park. You... More

Once in a lifetime experience outside Chiang Mai with the ability to interact with rescued elephants. They are doing a wonderful job helping the elephants without the trappings of your typical tourist elephant parks who will abuse their elephants. Highly recommend.

Dear people please don't go riding elephants! They have suffered so much before they let people on their back! Instead go to elephants nature park, an initiative from Thai lady Lek, she rescue abused elephants, she deserves a statue! She and the hole staff gives elephants all their love and care. You learn about the elephants, get to feed them... More

This program is an eye opener to people who dont know the reality behind the elephant tourist trade. Very informative and i think everyone should come here before considering getting on an elephant or letting the entertain you. I chose the pamper a pachyderm program to get up close with the elephants and spend the day learning about them though... More
