By far the best thing I did in Chiang Mai. You can get up close with these beautiful animals and also know that you are not contributing to their suffering, as you are at the other elephant parks. Many of the elephants here have been subjected to horrific abuse, and this a sanctuary for them, so visiting here helps provide... More

This was a highlight of our recent honeymoon to Thailand. Beyond this being such an important project to protect and rehabilitate abused elephants, we had such an amazing time. We did the "Pamper a Pachyderm" program and absolutely loved our experience hanging out with the elephants all day- feeding them, bathing them, walking alongside them... it was absolutely magical. Our... More

It was very good and other elephant parks around still make them work so this is fully rescuing the animals. Slight problem for me is the lunch is only vegetarian so for kids you may want to bring a little snack as i being a meat-eater had to have rice and crisps and chips for lunch.

You can see how they care about the animals. It's an amazing experience. You get to spend lot of quality time with the elephant. Totally recommend it. Book in advance, we met some people couldn't get ticket.

Amazing day spent with the elephants, the highlight of our trip to Thailand. It was very obvious that the elephants were very well cared for and had great relationships with the mahouts. A, our guide, was brilliant, very knowledgable and interesting. We got to feed and bathe the elephants, as well as walk with them through the jungle which was... More

This was my third time at the park, it's definitely grew In size over the years, but it is the one tourist place in am glad to see rake in bigger numbers of people. They pick you up on time, educate youu a bit on elephants, you feed them, wash them, have your few minutes to really feel like you... More

I loved that I was able to interact with elephants without feeling the guilt of promoting exploitation. We were simply observers in normal elephant life -- eating, bathing, mud -- and also received some education in the process. The "traditional" process of breaking an elephant's spirit is one of the most disturbing things I've ever seen and it's rallied me... More

We did the sunshine for elephants tour on a really hot day. The elephants were amazing! It felt very special to be out in nature with them. The tour get get a little slow and hot(you are walking at an elephants) pace but our tour guide Mine was great. He was energetic and knowledgable. The tour includes breakfast/lunch and ends... More

This is an outstanding organization! We were able to book "pamper a pachyderm full day visit" - amazing doesn't even come close. To see elephant conservation done so well warms my heart. We started our day straight away with our elephants by feeding them, we then walked with them to their mud bath, hiked along side with them until lunch... More

This was one of the highlights of the holiday. Seeing these magnificent creatures in a natural environment was magical. It was not overcrowded and we had ample time to listen to the stories about the different elephants. The meal was simple but well organised. Do take a hat as it can be very hot. The whole day was a real... More
