Pamper a Pachyderm at Elephant Nature Park was one of the most amazing experiences my girlfriend and I had while in Thailand. The Park is roughly an hour north of Chiang Mai in the Ping River Valley which is an area of beautiful jungle covered mountains, open grasslands, and of course the Ping River. The natural setting is only topped... More

I want to clarify that this is a rehabilitation Centre, not a tourist atraction; the funding is done by selling the experience to the people so they can keep doing and maintaining the facility. I was moved by the effots made to give elephants a second chance. Although all the time we wanted to touch the elephants, it's not recomemded... More

I spent a week volunteering at the elephant nature park and it was one of the best of my life. It was such an eye opening experience to see the truth behind the elephant industry and it was a privilege to be let into the lives of the elephants that had been so badly abused by humans in the past.... If you want to wake up in the morning and having breakfast surrounded by elephants, if you want to help conserving this magnificent creature from human's cruelty, if you want to enjoy sumptuous vegetarian food, if you want to sleep in the nature, if you want to meet up with great people who spend their valuable time to do volunteer... A full day walking with and learning about elephants. This center promotes humane treatment of all animals. The money raised helps to provide spay/neuter for cats and dogs, medical treatment to elephants and employs locals. Vegetarian lunch.

My boyfriend Lee and I had the pleasure of experiencing the Pamper a Pachyderm excursion affiliated with Elephant Nature Park and it was absolutely AMAZING. Our tour guide, A, was incredible. We hiked, fed, kissed, and bathed the elephants, including a baby elephant who was so sweet! The trip included lunch, which overlooked the Ping River Valley. It was truly... More

We purchased the day trip on line, which included a shuttle from our hotel. This was a wonderful, pleasurable, educational elephant encounter. This is an elephant rescue that saves elephants from the illegal logging industry, and tourist industry. We were served a lovely lunch, and had a very nice guide for the day. The elephants are not chained. We were... More

It was a wonderful day and well worth the price. The only elephant tour to take if you support responsible tourism.

Genuinely fantastic. Its well worth the money and is great fun whilst also making sure the Elephants are comfortable and having fun too. No rides or shows which is great and you also learn about the conservation work your money goes towards.
