I visited the park with three friends today. Two did the day visit and two did the pamper the pachyderm we're so glad we did. We got to feed the elephants, help them bathe and pet them. I felt that they were being treated well and humanely. The entire operation is well run and they are working towards an incredible... More

We booked an overnight tour and think the value for money is outstanding. You get great interaction with all of the animals and a dedicated, knowledgable tour guide. The accommodation and food was excellent, my boyfriend is a meat lover and he said the buffet (vegetarian) lunch was the best food he has eaten out here. The staff are all... More

Amazing day with the elephants, I loved every minute. We had a day there which frankly wasn't long enough! I honestly couldn't recommend it enough so so worth every penny. Our guide named ten was fantastic so knowledgable and friendly. You also learn a lot about elephants and how the nature park started, lek is truly inspirational. If you are... More

Hi! My son, husband and I stayed for the week here. We learned about the elephants rescued to this preserve. We did hard work with other volunteers like cutting down banana trees to feed the elephants, cleaning up after the elephants and building stone pillars to protect trees. We had 3 wonderful vegetarian meals per day and fresh drinking water.... More

This was a truly special day in Thailand. We spent the day hanging with, feeding and bathing these magical creatures. This is a refuge for elephants. There are no shows, performances, hooks or riding. The animals are cared for and respected. This, in my opinion, is the only way to see the elephants in Thailand. A must do!

Walking with elephants - completely surreal. We had the privilege of spending the day at an elephant rescue sanctuary where we walked, fed and splashed water on these beautiful creatures. We spent a day in their life and if was amazing. Many of these elephants were rescued from torturous lives of entertaining tourists (some in camps right next door where... More

Two-day, one-night visit and loved every single minute. You get to learn as much or as little about elephants as you want (some VERY cool facts!), but most of all you get to observe these gorgeous creatures and interact with them. No circus tricks, no riding, and no stupidity but instead a chance to help Lek and her crew. Living... More

I do not believe in using animals as entertainment, therefore this was the only elephant camp that I felt comfortable visiting. Most importantly, they do not allow the elephants to be ridden. As our wonderful guide "Bee" said "no riding, no shows, only love." I was not deterred but instead encouraged by so many of the other reviews written that... More

My partner and I had discussed interacting with elephants whilst on our trip to Thailand and after hearing some sound advice about Elephant cruelty, provided by my best earth caring friend, we found this elephant sanctuary in Chiang Mai. In fact we book flights to Chiang Mai for this reason alone . You are picked up from your hotel and... More

I like most people coming to Thailand wanted to ride an elephant because that's what you see and assume it's okay. Unfortunately, it's not. Before we came to Thailand, I did some research on elephant camps. Come to find out, in order to ride an elephant, it has been horribly abused and broken in order to become domesticated. I am...
