We visited ENP with very high expectations and we weren't disappointed. My parents and I did the Care package and spent the day with four elephants, feeding them, walking with them and bathing them. I booked the Care package as I was under the impression there would be only an hour of walking involved but actually we were walking for... More

It's very clear ENP is doing the right thing with the animals at their property. They take great strides to show love and compassion for the elephants, dogs and buffalo and have rescued many from very abusive past lives so that they can live freely for the remainder of their days. No riding the elephants or watching them do tricks,... More

First, if you are looking for a place to actually ride elephants, this is not the right attraction for you. They consider riding unhealthy for the elephants so they do not feature it. They do feature humane care. Fairly large facility for the elephants and they are free to stroll wherever they want. You will be able to touch them,... More

Elephants are treated right. No riding or torture allowed. The guides respect them. They are fed properly and aren't chained up or anything. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting to see elephants in a the most HUMANE and CRUELTY FREE way in Chiang Mai.

My mum and I stayed for 2 day one night visit last Feb (2015) and it really is magical. As soon as we arrive it was straight in and all about the elephants (obviously!). ENP is very much all for the care and love towards the elephants and its a beautiful and really touching thing to see. they're extremely well... More

This is an opportunity to be close with these wonderful animals with a clean conscience. The elephants are not ridden, they are not bound and the handlers do not whip or hit them. I liked elephants before this excursion, but now I absolutely love them. This was by far one of my favourite days. Walking with the elephants into the... More

Elephant Nature Park is an inspiring story turned into a great tourist attraction that I don't think anyone should miss. Love the mission of sustainability and supporting the locals. Great experience there!

I was truly impressed with this park's actions and initiatives. They buy wounded elephants and treat them and let them be alive and free again. It's not for mass Tourism and their animals won't play tricks for you. But meeting this beautiful elephants, feeding them and being around them is a great experience. They take care of hundreds of dogs... More

This place is wonderful. Really allows you to get "up-close and personal" with the animals, without riding them (which is not humane!) The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and the food they served us for lunch was great as well. Highly recommend!

We saw lots of elephants. We can't imagine how any of the reviewers who say they didn't see elephants missed them! There are 66 elephants at the elephant nature park and they are all well cared for. There is no elephant riding here which is why we chose this place. Great way to spend a day in Chiang Mai -... More
