Working as a volunteer at ENP for a week was the best experience of my life! From the unbelievable care they have for all animals to the special animals themselves, it touched my heart in an extraordinary way. My fellow volunteers were hardworking an lots of fun. The Volunteer Coordinators were outstanding and worked alongside us every day. The food... More

My husband and I are currently travelling Asia and like most tourists wanted to spend the day riding an elephant. We spoke about this with a friend who lives in Thailand and he recommened going to the Elephant Nature Park. I can 100% say we made the right choice. Not only did we get to spend the day with the... I wasn't sure if I would use the phrase "once in a lifetime" before the trip even thou I knew it had to be good from all the reviews. After finishing it, I can safely say it REALLY is a once in a lifetime experience. I took the Pamper a Pachyderm program, which was really expensive at 6000 Bahts, but... More

So, so good. It was amazing enough just to be around the elephants, and know that they were safe and loved and were going to have these really lovely lives--no rides, no shows, no abuse--especially after most of them had been through so much. You can watch a heartbreaking documentary about it, or if you're like my husband and me,... More

After many days researching our options about an elephant experience in Chiang Mai we decided to book a pamper a pachyderm tour at Elephant Nature Park. We were blown away by there organization, customer service but most importantly their dedication to creating and maintaining a true sanctuary for rescued Elephants. You do not ride elephants but to be honest hand... More

I booked my day at their offices in Chiang Mai. The day before my visit, they phoned to confirm when they'd be round to collect me and they were there spot on time in a modern minibus. The 90 minute drive passes quickly, aided by a film of their history and philosophy. Once at the park, the visit is well... More

We don't experience something like this in our mundane life. Close to the nature and with saved animals around, just indescribably awesome. Want to take a break off from the busy city, the Elephant Nature Park is a must-go if you're visiting Chiang Mai! There are selfless volunteers around to tell you each of the elephants story, be prepared to... More

Visited here yesterday and what an amazing place. Lek has obviously spent so much of her time on making this a wonderful sanctuary for these beautiful creatures that she deserves a medal. We had more than enough interaction with them during our day, got to know nearly all the herd, feeding, stroking and cooling them down in the river, great... More

We were worried about seeing elephants and the potential immorality of it. We searched carefully and booked Elephant Nature Park. It is mid-range in terms of price, but it is top of the pile when it comes to genuinely looking after the elephants well being. We were picked up from our hostel and driven to the Park. On the way... We had a wonderful 2-day, 1-night stay at ENP. I was intrigued to read the 'terrible' reviews having been there, I guess the comment that there was a lot of waiting around between some of the activities has an element of truth to it, having spent 2 days there it wasn't as noticable to our group. All the activities are... More
